Book 15 or more passengers on the same air-inclusive tour of equal or higher value within 12 months of the FAM s return, or 100,000 in revenue, and you will be entitled to a 100% rebate of your FAM cost (based on the twin rate) What is a Familiarization tour (FAM)? It s been proven that you have greater success selling a tour when you have actually been to the destination. FAMs provide travel agents with a taste of the destination information that you can bring back home to your clients and groups. FAMs allow you to network with other travel professionals. The number of meals will be on your final documents, which are sent approximately two weeks prior to departure. Who qualifies to travel on a FAM? You will be notified by email that your application was received. Then, within 30 days of receipt of the application, you will be notified if you have been confirmed. When is payment due? In the rare instance that the scheduled flight is overbooked, the airline reserves the right to restrict the usage of the promotional ticket on the flight.
