Majik system. Magical performance. The MAJIK system is an investment in high quality audio performance. A dedicated stereo music system, available in black or silver, comprising three separate components, each of which is focused on performing one function to the highest standards. Because the system is modular and expandable, the performance can be developed over a lifetime. You can build your system up one component at a time or purchase as a complete system. By upgrading to AKTIV you can further enhance the performance and your enjoyment of your music collection. All components in the MAJIK system contain Linn s proprietary Switch Mode Power Supply, which runs more efficiently and more quietly than other power supplies. The MAJIK system is also multi-room enabled so you can enjoy the best sound quality throughout your home as part of a Linn KNEKT multi-room system.
Majik CD. In developing the MAJIK CD, Linn s designers focused on refining the areas that would give the most noticeable performance enhancements. The audio board layout of the MAJIK CD is equally adept handling HDCDs and DTS CDs, and will also play back MP3 from disc. Linn's sophisticated 'clocking' technology first employed in Linn's flagship disc players has been adapted to suit the specific design of the MAJIK CD. The benefit of this technology lies in the way in which it retrieves the audio data from the disc more accurately than in other players, delivering more music than you ever thought possible.
Majik Kontrol. The MAJIK KONTROL is a dedicated stereo pre-amplifier, built around a simplified version of the system architecture used in Linn's highest performing pre-amplifiers. In addition to exemplary parentage, the MAJIK KONTROL also benefits from a high quality phono stage that can be simply configured for both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges. This ensures outstanding musicality regardless of the type of turntable you have. With six stereo analogue inputs, enabling you to connect up to six music sources, the MAJIK KONTROL will improve the performance of any high quality music system.
Majik 2100. The MAJIK 2100 is a dedicated two-channel power amplifier featuring Linn's ground-breaking CHAKRA power amplifier topology, designed to offer consistent performance, controlled silent power and pure sound, in any high quality entertainment system. CHAKRA technology is characterised by superb efficiency in all areas, making the MAJIK 2100 much cooler, quieter and more reliable than the majority of two-channel power amplifiers. 4 mm binding posts ensure solid electrical contact between the amplifier and loudspeaker cable, eliminating any movement in the cable to provide optimum audio performance. The MAJIK 2100 can be easily upgraded by the introduction internally of Linn AKTIV cards to further enhance the musical performance of your system. AKTIV configuration of your system means that each drive unit in your loudspeaker is powered by its own dedicated channel of power amplification. This ensures that each signal frequency goes directly and exclusively to its own drive unit in the loudspeaker, giving more accurate and enjoyable musical reproduction.
