Events with Cerulean Thank you for choosing Cerulean to host your special event. With 4,000 square feet of event space divided into a wine bar and gallery space, Cerulean s Portland Pearl District tasting room & gallery is equally adept at housing intimate gatherings and large scale events. We ve had weddings, birthday parties, private dinners, corporate celebrations, fundraisers, art exhibits, and auctions. Cerulean s unique urban space is incredibly flexible and so are we. Let us help you create an event that reflects your unique vision. Cerulean offers a warm urban industrial ambiance with subdued lighting, and the original exposed brick walls, wood beams of our 100 year old building. The Tasting Bar offers a hyperlocal wine list of the award winning, family-owned Cerulean Skies Winery, a craft winery based in the Pacific Northwest s Columbia Gorge. Our wines are the result of thoughtful farming, meticulous winemaking, and passionate dedication to keeping things Pure, Natural, and Authentic nurturing the very best expression of each varietal and vintage. The bar and lounge feature multiple seating areas (full buy-out required) including: Intimate tables for sampling food and wine 30-foot long, bamboo and steel tasting bar with 12 stools Open air seating on our deck and sidewalk (weather permitting) Standing wine bar adjacent to main bar The Gallery at Cerulean Spacious and hugely flexible the galley houses a rotating exhibition of diverse local art, personally curated by our resident artist Hazel Miller. Our Galley features: Flexible and semi or private (buyout required) space for groups small and large: Comfortable couches, intimate restaurant or large dining tables. Tables and chairs for up to 90 guests, with additional rentals available. Small Semi-Private Events Under 20 People By Reservation Available: Rental Fee: Access: Via advanced reservation during normal business hours. Gratis (Paying events will take precedent) Reserved area within public spaces. Cerulean remains open to the public. For smaller events during our normal hours, we will not charge a rental fee and will remain open to the public. For events larger than 20 people, we require rental of the gallery space (see Gallery Rental or Full Buyout.) Outside of normal hours, or when an event is private (regardless of number of guests), "Private Events/Buyouts" fees apply. Semi-Private Events may be bumped by full paying events. If you would like to reserve your event date, we require a $500 deposit. Food / Caterers The Cerulean menu will be available during our regular hours for guests to purchase from. Catered Food must be ordered, in advance, from one of our preferred caterers. You may not bring in outside food or use a different caterer. See Preferred Caterers for our current list, contact information, and other details. Alcoholic Beverage Service We provide beverage service. We serve a wide selection of Cerulean wines, bottled beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. We charge based on actual drinks ordered. All group event checks will include a 20% gratuity. Seating & Layout We have multiple configurations to suit most any style event up to 250 people.. We have indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting), couches in our lounge area, tables/chairs in our main bar area, and more intimate dining opportunities in the gallery. Gallery Rental Event Up To 150 People By Reservation & Deposit Available: Rental Fee: Access: Minimum: Via available advanced reservation during normal hours. $500 deposit required. $500 first 3 hours, $150 each add l (1 hr added for cleaning) Gallery Area Is Private for your event. Cerulean Tasting Bar remains open to the public. $500 in purchases The Gallery at Cerulean makes for a fantastic, and affordable, event space. The Cerulean Tasting Bar will remain open, while the gallery area is for your private use. Your guests are welcome to spill out in the Tasting Bar & Lounge. Rental of the Gallery does not include control of music and we only allow minimal decorations (advanced approval required). Day Fee: 8am-4pm $500 Includes 3 hours (w/ clean up) add l hours billed at $150 Access: Comprehensive private use of Tasting Bar & Gallery. Eve Fee: Access: 4pm on $2,500 ($3,000 Holiday Season) Includes 6 hours (w/ clean up) add l hours billed at $150/hr. Comprehensive private use of Tasting Bar & Gallery. The Gallery at Cerulean makes for a fantastic, and affordable, event space. The entire Cerulean Tasting Room & Gallery is for your private use. Preferred Caterers Please Select Your Caterer From This List You may choose one of the preferred caterers listed. We do not allow outside food or non-listed caterers to use our space. The following caterers have been selected because they offer exceptional service, respect our space, and provide a variety of options and price points allowing you to choose the food and style best suited to your event. After confirming your reservation with a $500 deposit you may then contact your selected caterer directly. ChefStable Catering Final head count is required 3 business days prior to the event date. Food minimum of $750. This could be subject to level of business and/or holiday schedule. Menus are updated constantly, almost on a weekly basis.
