Soloists Madeleine Hammer Isaac Horwitz-Hirsch Duncan Smith Narrator Robert Curtis Brown Mr. Brown recently completed filming on Step Sisters and has appeared in such movies as The Guilt Trip, Dreamgirls, Spiderman 3, Bruce Almighty, Catch Me If You Can, Guess Who, and It s Complicated with Meryl Streep and Steve Martin. His first movie role was Todd in Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. On television, Mr. Brown created the part of Vance Evans, Ryan and Sharpay s dad, in High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3 and Sharpay s Fabulous Adventure. Mr. Brown has appeared in over 100 television series including roles on Code Black, Rizzoli & Isles, Lethal Weapon, NCIS, Perception, Mom, Castle, CSI, Switched At Birth, and Hawaii-Five-O. He is currently filming The Handmaid s Tale in Toronto which will premiere on Hulu on April 26th. A graduate of both Yale College and The Yale Drama School, Mr. Brown spent many years in New York City on Broadway and Off. He appeared in Julius Caesar at the Newman Theatre for the New York Shakespeare Festival with Al Pacino. Locally, at the South Coast Repertory Theatre, Robert has appeared in numerous productions including Sunlight for the Pacific Playwrights Festival Absurd Person Singular, Terra Nova, The Beard of Avon, How the Other Half Lives, Green Icebergs, Night and Her Stars and recently, the criticallyacclaimed All The Way. At the Pasadena Playhouse, he was Gary Essendine in Present Laughter and Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest. Thankfully, Mr. Brown is married to psychotherapist Diane Reynolds and, without a doubt, considers his children, Eli and Emma, to be his greatest productions.
