House Rule of Kiosk Leasing Rental Procedure 1. This form should be submitted at least 1 month prior to the proposed event commencement date. 2. Confirmation letter will be sent to the approved applicant before the event commencement date. Payment and Cancellation of Application 1. Final confirmation will only be effective if full payment and the signed Agreement are received by The Office before the due date stated in the Agreement. 2. Licensee must pay all license fee, electricity fee and deposit by cheque on or before the proposed deadline prior to the event commencement date. 3. The deposit shall be refundable without any damage/ loss caused by licensee s usage during license period. 4. Prior written notice must be given to Licensor for cancelling the application. All deposit will be deducted for cancelling the application after payment. 5. The Licensor reserves the right to reallocate the kiosks, date, time, location, even cancelling the rental of kiosks. Licensees shall be noticed in prior. Use of Kiosk/Display of Goods 1. Besides the locker inside the Kiosk, all goods are prohibited to be placed outside the kiosk. 2. Licensee shall not hinder the display cabinet of shop tenants or cause inconvenience to tenants and tourists. All goods should be displayed within the kiosk area. 3. Licensee shall not create excess noise, special sound effect at the area or conduct any activities causing disturbance or nuisance during operation. 4. Licensor reserves the right to remove any products which have not been approved by the Licensor and terminate the sales. 5. Duty staff of Licensor has the right to terminate the business carried on the area with immediate effect when the Licensee fails to comply with any rules and regulations of Kiosk. 6. Licensor shall bear no liability to Licensee for any damage or loss of its properties or injury to third parties arising from any incidents or weather during the licensed period. Venue Setting/ Dismantling 1. Licensee shall set the kiosk on the commencement day and move out with all their packed belongings before 9:30pm on the last day. Returned kiosk must be intact and tidy. 2. Licensee is strictly prohibited to nail anything on the kiosk. 3. No storage will be provided for the Licensee unless the locker inside kiosk. 4. Licensee shall keep the license area in good, clean and tidy condition.
Notes 1. Opening hours of kiosk should be from 10am to 10pm. 2. Licensee shall not transfer or sublet the kiosk to other parties. Any cooperation or sponsorship format must get prior consent by Licensor. 3. If the kiosk was rent by shop tenants, his/her shop must also keep on opening as usual. 4. If individual retail activities pose any danger to the public, the Duty staff of Licensor has the right to terminate the business carried on the area with immediate effect and no payment will be refunded. 5. All staff must wear tidy costume during operation hours. Electricity Supply 1. Each of the Licensees is provided with 13A power supply. Should the Licensee require additional power supply, he/she shall seek prior approval from the Licensor. The installation cost and additional electricity charges shall be borne by Licensee. Such additional charge will be worked out by Licensor. Sales Redemption 1. All purchase receipts issued by Licensee are NOT eligible for parking and other promotional redemption offered by the Gold Coast Piazza. Security & Insurance 1. Licensee shall look after his/her products and properties during his/her business operation. Licensor shall not be held responsible for any damage, loss or whatsoever arising from licensee s business operation. If any security guard is necessarily employed by the Licensee to look after his/her properties, advance notice shall be given to Licensor. 2. Any injury to Licensee himself/herself, to the public or damage to the venue and facilities due to Licensee s business shall all be responsible by the Licensee himself/herself. 3. Licensee is responsible for application of all necessary licenses and of all public liability insurance. 4. Licensee should submit copy of third party insurance policy to Property Management Office before moving in.
