lyrics ANDREW NEIHOFF Fast Rode the Knight Stephen Crane Fast rode the knight With spurs, hot and reeking, Ever waving an eager sword, "To save my lady!" Fast rode the knight, And leaped from saddle to war. Men of steel flickered and gleamed Like riot of silver lights, And the gold of the knight's good banner Still waved on a castle wall...... A horse, Blowing, staggering, bloody thing, Forgotten at foot of castle wall. A horse Dead at foot of castle wall. composer biographies Andrew Niehoff, born 1995, began his musical career by studying piano at age seven, later picking up composition in high school. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Music Composition at Kennesaw State University along with the Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business Certificate. He is currently studying with Dr. Laurence Sherr and has studied with Steven Dancz and Jennifer Mitchell for composition. He has written for many different types of ensembles and mediums, from solo and large ensemble works to music for film and video games. He has had performances across the USA, including Georgia, Indiana, and California.

Rachel Rabeneck, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began studying Music Composition in 2015 at Kennesaw State University. Rabeneck began taking composition lessons with Dr. Joseph Dangerfield, Director of Composition at West Virginia University in 2015. After finding her passion in composition she decided to pursue her dream of composing for film and video games. She now attends Kennesaw State University for Music Composition studying under Jen Mitchell, Dr. Laurence Sherr, and Dr. Steve Dancz. Rachel has appeared in master classes with Roger Zare, Felipe Coelho, Andrew Boss, Kamran Ince, Joseph Schwantner, and James Stephenson. Her works have been played numerous times and she is currently working on her eighth commission. After completing her undergraduate degree, Rachel hopes to move to Los Angeles to pursue her career in film and video game scoring. Sean Brinkley, Jr. currently resides in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he is working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in music composition at Kennesaw State University under the instruction of Dr. Laurence Sherr and Jennifer Mitchell. Prior to his acceptance at Kennesaw State, Mr. Brinkley earned placements in several wind ensembles around the metro-atlanta area such as the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra, and Metro Atlanta Youth Wind Ensemble. Upon his arrival at Kennesaw State, he was awarded several music scholarships such as the Audrey and Jack Morgan scholarship and KSU School of Music scholarship. Along with his dedication to musical excellence, Sean Brinkley, Jr. is a colonizing member of the Nu Mu chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at Kennesaw State University. Eric Louis Ramos is a composer for the Visual Media, Dance, and the Concert Hall. In the Summer of 2015, he collaborated with John Lawless on a piece for dance entitled 1.0, that debuted on November 11, 2015. Later that summer he composed the music for a commercial for KSU, broadcasted on television during football coverage. During the summer of 2016, Ramos studied Film Scoring and Jazz with Steve Dancz in Italy and received an internship with Chaotic Good. In 2017, in collaboration with Ivan Pulinkala, Ramos composed 40 minutes of music for a work for dance, Metamorphosis, which debuted KSU s new dance theatre. Ramos is currently composing an original soundtrack for the Indie-video game, Prayer of the Faithless, due out later this year.

Jeremy Jakari Rush began to play piano at age four and was accompanying his church choir by age six. Music came naturally to him at an early age and he has an immense love for every style and genre of music. Classical music is where his heart is and his main influences are romantic and contemporary composers. He studied with Dr. Ruben Malán during high school and later relocated to Columbus, Georgia, to study piano at the Schwob School of Music under Professor Gila Goldstein. At the Schwob School of Music, Rush composed Dolente a Bramosia, Barcarolle in B-flat, and Hymn No.1 for piano, Vocalise in F-sharp minor, and many other works. He also works as a freelance musician and has performed in the Atlanta, Columbus, and Tallahassee areas as a solo musician and with Simply Humbled Band. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and studies composition with Dr. Laurence Sherr at the KSU School of Music. Nicholas Felder began composing music at the age of sixteen. Premiered at his graduation ceremony at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Felder wrote A War for Peace, his first work for large orchestra. He has won numerous competitions including 3rd place in the Georgia PTA Reflections Contest and 1st place in the 2016 Kennesaw State University Music Composition Contest. Felder enjoys exploring new genres to write for, including musical theatre and Argentinian Tango. Felder is currently fulfilling a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in music composition at Kennesaw State University. He studies with Composer-in-Residence Dr. Laurence Sherr.
