300x100mm NTO LED Light Module Idea Sources: 1. Our idea source of NTO LED panel module is the slim OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) lighting module. People like OLED very much because it is flat lighting, low glare, a little power consumption, and it can be made to many shapes. The creative designer and architect like to use OLED also because it is very thin (Rigid OLED 2-3mm ). 2. Many big companies like Philips, Osram, LG etc. take OLED lighting as the next generation lighting, and put a lot of investment on OLED researching. 3. However, OLED module have big problem on the very high price, shorter life time and the special OLED driving method. Because of the above problem, OLED lighting still in a very small market at present, almost only in the creative lighting design and some special place special application, it is very hard to enter normal people s life. 4. We were in LED lighting industry for many years, and we noticed the OLED lighting development and its main problem these years. So we think people must need a product which can take the advantage of OLED lighting, but needs to be much cheaper, much easier to use and has longer life time. It needs to be driven by the most popular DC power supply, and could be easily used for furniture lighting, cabinet lighting, shelf lighting and creative design lighting. 1 / 5
Design and Development concept: 1. Some of the NTO LED panel module product design were took from the BLU(Back Light Unit) of LCD display and LED TV, we apply the LED+LGP(Light Guide Plate) design to get the OLED advantage of flat lighting and low glares, and make the system cost much cheaper. 2. Considering the high light efficiency and uniformity, at the meantime making the NTO panel module as thin as possible(final thickness about 5mm), we apply 2mm thickness LGP, and very narrow 4014(4.0x1.4x0.8mm) SMD LED, the LED width is only 1.4mm, and the light output surface width is about 1.0mm. 3. After a lot of testing and comparison, 2mm Laser-Engraving LGP has better performance than the Screen-Printed LGP. The Laser LGP has the engraved 3D concave dots on the PMMA plate surface, these 3D concave dots form multi-dimensional light refraction effects and changes the direction of the light in LGP to convert the side light to the whole panel and emits uniform light. 4. We apply one of the best diffuser plate from TAIWAN, which have their patent micro-structure on the plate surface, it was widely used on LED TVs, having great performance of its light transmittance is still more than 86% when its haze keep 99%, and the surface micro-structure help to control the light as 100degrees beam angle. 5. To make sure people could power the NTO panel module very easy; we design the LED light bar inside as the most popular 12V DC input, 2meters long two leads cable with connector. And we have extra accessory like 6-way splitter to use several NTO panel modules together. After installing with screws, covering them with the screw plug buttons, then make the panel module much nicer. 6. NTO LED panel module can be widely used for furniture lighting, under cabinet lighting, kitchen lighting, shelf lighting and creative lighting.
