The product is oaded through top in-feed hoppers and then passes through vibrators which send an even stream of the product down the pain chutes monitored by cameras. Camera wi send the data in rea time to the processor which compares the product with the coour trained tempate. pneumaticay controed ejectors rejects the unwanted materia by bowing them to the reject bin and the accepted materia passes on to the accept bin. Often, even very simiar coours can be differentiated. The infra-red capabiity improves detection of foreign bodies. The camera information is processed by an utra-fast digita signa processor, and commands are sent to one or more ejectors to remove the unwanted item efficienty. The MCA is specificay configured for efficient sorting of difficut to hande, ightweight products such as green herbs or fakes. After being spread on a vibratory feeder, the product acceerates down a chute and is inspected by the 2048 pixe ine-scan camera. Defects and contaminants are removed by short puffs of air from ejectors buit into the feed system.
