Hans started orking ith Siegfried Rundel in 196. His first iece at Rundel as ublished in 1968. He is no 96 years old. These eole and the unsung millions not-listed, share something in common ith the Silenced. They ere risoners and survivors from different sides. As the camera ulls back, e see a larger icture. As Beethoven ould have us do, e similarly dedicate this ork to Remembering that easily forgotten Past and to the long-aaited Brotherhood of Man. Technical Mt. Ah! Trite music... too easy for us. Yet, this may ell be one of the most difficult ieces of Music I have ritten to date. Why In clear ater little fish have no lace to hide. Even rofessional layers ill be challenged to lay ith erfect tuning and intonation, the starting oints from hich Music might hoefully flo. That is the technical reason for the Music. It is a great challenge for young and more mature ensembles. Once erfection is achieved in the mixing, the tuning and the intonation, all, no counterlines... the Music must flo in and out of Silence ith great, mutual sensitivity. To extend the Music-making to beteen timings : and :0 then becomes a noble and focused challenge of the Conductor and Musicians. At that oint eic is redefined, not by means of orchestral forces, or length... but by substance. Can such a small ork be monumental Find out.
