Students will prepare for the Fall and Winter Concerts: Promised Land, 8TH GRADE BOYS CHORUS Period 6 in Chorus Room (150) Learning Objectives: Students will practice sight-reading of new, study al symbols, and learn to identify intervals. Students will prepare for the Fall and Winter Concerts: Promised Land, Standards: 4.b Composing 5.a,b,c,d Reading and notating 6.b,c,d Listening to, analyzing Learning Objectives: Students will continue treble clef work, practice note identification on theory.net then begin study of the Renaissance Period (with listenings). Students will prepare for the Fall and Winter Concerts: Promised Land, Chorus Enrichment students will also have the opportunity to study and critique als and other performances. 8TH GRADE CHORUS ENRICHMENT Period 6 in Chorus Room (150)

Standards: 4.b Composing 5.a,b,c,d Reading and notating 6.b,c,d Listening to, analyzing Learning Objectives: Students will continue practice of the C Major Scale (RH), practice timbres of the instruments of the world, and take a treble clef letter name quiz. FRIDAY September 8, 2017 Learning Objectives: Students will rehearse for the Fall Concert: Come to the Music, 7TH GRADE CHORUS ENRICHMENT Period 5 in Chorus Room (150) Learning Objectives: Students will practice sight-reading of new, study al symbols, and learn to identify intervals. Students will prepare for the Fall and Winter Concerts: Promised Land, Chorus Enrichment students will also have the opportunity to study and critique als and other performances. 8TH GRADE CHORUS ENRICHMENT Period 6 in Chorus Room (150) Learning Objectives: Students will help teach Gateways Music.

Standards: 4.b Composing 5.a,b,c,d Reading and notating 6.b,c,d Listening to, analyzing Learning Objectives: Students will listen to a favorite listening, take a practice test for timbres of instruments of the world, and then play Blue and Gold Basketball.
