We are Young Women in Harmony The Young Women in Harmony (YWIH) program delivers both musical excellence and quality music education that benefits young women worldwide. This program enriches students artistically, as well as improves their motor skills, communication and problem-solving abilities. Singing four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style increases singers vocal, analytical listening and performance skills. Young women who participate in YWIH activities often discover hidden talents and gain confidence while they create invaluable, often life-changing memories. The program also provides music educators with the tools and support they need to teach young women the joy of performing this uniquely American vocal art form.
