A Little Neat Music or concert band by Ed Roseman Commissioned in 200 by the Chelmsord Community Band in celebration o its 5th anniversary A Little Neat Music came about rom mulling over the contrasts in the irst handul o bars o Mozart s Jupiter 41st) Syhony and deciding to use exaggerated contrast as the starting point or a piece o my own and see where it led The name is a play on A Little Night Music Eine Kleine Nachtmusik in the original German I called my senior concert A Little Neat Music but had never used it as the name o a piece It elt like the perect name or this ro which is at various times virile genteel melodramatic melancholy silly and lyrical; sometimes back to back Musical styles are splashed about too copyright 200 Ed Roseman Musical EdVentures wwwedlycom
