High intensity led illuminator May 2010 Rev 0.3 ILED42A FEATURES: High luminous flux Low cost Fully protected Wide input voltage range Available with different led colours and lenses DESCRIPTION: The IDP ILED42A is a low cost fully protected eight-leds illuminator. The IDP ILED42A is protected for short circuit, polarity inversion, over voltage and over temperature. The user can vary the light intensity simply modifying the voltage applied to the illuminator. When the voltage applied exceed 13.5V leds are switched off (but in any case the input voltage must never exceed 40V). The dc voltage power supply is provided through an external male panel connector. A cable is provided with a female plug (the cable length is user defined between 1 meter to 10 meters on request: see Tab3). The device can be equipped without lenses or with lenses (10, 20 or 40 ) and with different led colours: see Tab2 for details. ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS: The power supply voltage for the IDP- ILED42A is between 0V to 13.5V. The light intensity is directly modulated through the applied voltage. When voltage exceed 13.5V, an auto switch off is executed to protect led diodes. The absolute maximum input voltage is 40V (never exceed this voltage).
