1 Introduction The requirement of the work was to determine the performance of a Draka UK Ltd. SIFER 950i 1x1.5mm² cable when subjected to the conditions specified in [1]. The client for this work was Draka UK Ltd., Alfreton Road, Derby, DE21 4AE. The client s order number was 4500094465. Page 3 of 5
2 Details of sample and test carried out The cable tested was a 3.5mm diameter, single core cable comprising 1 off 1.5mm 2 stranded copper conductor with mica tape and a black insulation. The insulation had the following printed marking: (DRAKA UK) SIFER 950i Gen to BS6387 IEC60331-21 600/1000V 2010 1 x1.5mm2 MADE IN UK LPCB 361h/01 No product information was supplied. The client reference for the cable was SIFER 950i 1x1.5mm 2. The test specimen was supplied by the client and received on 12 November 2010. BRE Global was not involved in the sample selection process and therefore cannot comment upon the relationship between samples supplied for test and the product supplied to market. The client requested that the test was undertaken in accordance with and this report should be read in conjunction with it. The test was conducted on 14 December 2010. Prior to the tests being carried out, the sample was conditioned as required by test standard. Page 4 of 5

In addition, a failure shall be recorded if charring extends downward to a point greater than 540mm from the lower edge of the top support. The Draka UK Ltd.
