INDIANA UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Since its founding in 1875, Indiana University of Pennsylvania has progressed and evolved to match the changing needs of those it serves. Today, IUP has a diverse, vibrant, research-based, and student-centered community comprising of distinguished faculty members and more than fifteen thousand undergraduate and graduate students from across the nation and around the world. COMPLEX INFORMATION Opening in March 2011, the 148,500 square-foot Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex is the premier entertainment facility on the campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Managed by Pinnacle Venue Services, the Kovalchick Complex boasts over 23,000 square feet of meeting and convention center space, in addition to the 624 seat (632 capacity) Toretti Auditorium and 3,840 seat (5,000 capacity) Ed Fry Arena. The Conference Center at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex is home to the most technologically advanced conferencing facilities in the region. Nine rooms make up the 17,000 square feet of conference space that hosts everything from small meetings to large upscale banquets. Additionally, the Corporate Training and Executive Conference Center is comprised of six meeting rooms and various auxiliary spaces totaling 6,000 square feet. Included in this location of the facility is a Business Center, the Executive Boardroom, and a Training Lab. The Toretti Auditorium is an 8,500 square foot, 624 seat theater featuring its own independent screen and projector, audio system, lighting system, and curtaining system. The Toretti Auditorium has its own entrance located on the Wayne Avenue side of the Complex, giving it the potential to host events independent of anything else going on at the facility. The 3,840 seat Ed Fry Arena is home to IUP athletics (Men s Basketball, Women s Basketball, and Volleyball) and plays host to a wide variety of concerts, family shows, trade shows, and expos. Previous events include Eric Church, The Beach Boys, Wiz Khalifa, the Harlem Globetrotters, Disney on Ice, and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. 2
AUDITORIUM OVERVIEW The Toretti Auditorium is an eight thousand five hundred (8,500) square foot, six hundred and twenty-four (624) seat theater style space featuring a projection system, audio system, lighting system, and curtaining system. The Toretti Auditorium has its own entrance located on the Wayne Avenue side of the Complex, offering the opportunity to host events independent of anything else going on at the facility. Since the building s opening in March 2011, hundreds of events have taken place in the space. Event types include film screenings, speaking engagements, community/campus events, and concerts. 3

These locations do not have a dock, so all loading/unloading must be done with a ramp or lift. Stage access door (stage left) Height: 11-6 Width: 9-6 A traditional dock (two truck bays with levelers; one additional large rolling door) is located in the rear of the building, but the location is a 450 push to the auditorium. Also, usability of the dock is contingent on arena schedule. 7
PRODUCTION & DRESSING ROOMS All production/dressing rooms are located on the event level in the arena section of the facility. Due to location, there is not a private access way to the auditorium stage. Performers must walk through public areas to access stage. TICKETING Toretti Auditorium events are exclusively ticketed through Etix FOOD & BEVERAGE All food, beverage, and concessions at the Kovalchick Complex are operated by Aramark 8
