Visual Diary will be available to purchase in the college in September- 2 Music Hardback copy Manuscript Paper STUDENT ENRICHMENT MODULES Notes: Students will participate in a Fencing Programme throughout the year. All students will have the opportunity to participate in the GAISCE Presidential Awards. All students will follow a programme of Outdoor Education. All students will participate in an Enrichment module in Photography, Film Making and Webbased Design Technology (10 weeks) in each area. Transition Year students will complete 3 x 1 week work experience placements in November/February and May. Weeks beginning Monday November 16th, Monday February 22nd and Monday April 25th. At least one of these placements should be volunteering in the community. This will count towards their GAISCE AWARD. Your son/daughter should endeavour to investigate work experience placements over the Summer holidays. Summer Holidays. Transition Year students will have the opportunity to participate in our French, German and Spanish Exchange Programmes and the TY trip to Barcelona. Assessment in Transition Year: Assessment in Transition Year is based both on continuous assessment and Semester Examinations.
