The originality of the article is a requirement and must be certified by the authors. All articles will then be verified during the evaluation process. Editorial Policy Essays should focus on developing visual culture analysis and functional organization of space in places of worship in the historical time period previous to the sixteenth century. As far as possible, essays should consider discussions on the theory of iconography and interdisciplinary approaches. Contributions that explore the latest problems developed in areas such as semiotics, cultural anthropology, ideology critique and new perspectives on the history of representation will be well received. All essays received will be evaluated by specialists and their decisions shall be communicated promptly to the authors. A double-blind procedure will be used for the selection of articles to be published.
