Venue requirement Venue Dance floor: Trim height: Proscenium: minimum 15 x 1 m and 4 m in the wings. No raked floor. minimum 14 m minimum 14 m Fly bar requirements: Minimum of 16 line sets required: 6 for lights 4 for set 1 for legs 4 for borders 1 for backdrop Stage Floor The floor must have a sprung floor construction, with a loading capacity of 150 kg/m², and horizontal. The Presenter is to provide a black dance carpet for the whole stage including the apron. The Presenter must see to that the floor is properly cleaned before rehearsal and performance. Stage Area The temperature must be minimum 2 C. The stage manager booth needs to be with full view of the stage and with a video monitor. Blackout The Presenter should be able to provide a perfect blackout in the venue.
. Technical.1. Stage Set The dance floor is minimum 15 x 1 m (w/d) and the maximum trim height is 14 m. Noetic grey dance floor (panels sideways), 1 US scrim (w8x18m), SL and SR scrim (8x10m) and carbon fiber battens in up to 6 m length. The Venue is to provide 2 x 10 m ladder truss, Eurotruss FD2 or similar, for the SL and SR scrims with rigging points. The side scrims are rigged in bars and operated synchronized during preset and intermission. 1 panel of black dance floor for down stage. All the set including floor are provided by GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. Set up We need 8 hours to set up and focus, 1 hour for unload and 2 hours for strike down. We need hours for rehearsal. Set Up Equipment The Presenter is to provide a stage lift, Genie or equivalent, with a working height of at least 10m. Masking 4 borders, 1 pair of legs and 1 backdrop, all in black velvet. Curtain We will not use the house curtain. SFX We do not use any fire or fire effects. Stage Crew The Presenter guarantees the following stage crew for the duration of The Company s visit: 1 stage/ technical manager and 6 stage hands for unloading, set up/strike down and loading of truck. 1 stage/ technical manager, 2 stage hands and 1 fly man during performance and pre- and postperformance technical work. No working crews are to be replaced between rehearsal and performance. A schedule for local crew will be given to the presenter before our arrival. The Venue must adjust the amount of fly men according to the numbers of bars that is operated at the same time and to the specified weight of the set (see Set).

Light Lighting Equipment The Presenter is to provide and pre-hang the following equipment: Profile 2 KW, R61+12 5 pcs Low FoH Fresnel 2 KW 5 pcs Profile 2 KW, R71 2 pcs Specials from top, FoH Profile 2 KW 4 pcs Specials, FoH Dimmers for front light controlled through our lighting board by DMX. 2 power sockets 400/20V 6A. We bring our own lighting board, and need to connect this to The Presenter s dimmer system. Please inform us as soon as possible if The Presenter s dimmer system is not DMX controlled or if you foresee any problems in this regard. A Light plot will be given to the Presenter before our arrival. The equipment in the plot not listed above will be brought by G.O.D. and rigged at our arrival. We use W-DMX (Wireless Solutions), 2.4 and 5.8 GHz. If this is a problem, please let us know. All lighting equipment is to be rigged and focused according to the light plot before our arrival. Lighting Crew The Presenter guarantees the following stage crew for the duration of The Company s visit: 2 lighting technicians for set up/strike down/focusing /performance. 1 lighting technician with good knowledge of patch, dimmers etc, stationed at the control room for set up and performance. No working crews are to be replaced between rehearsal and performance. A schedule for local crew will be given to the presenter before our arrival.
.. Sound PA-System A high quality PA-system is required. The system must be capable of delivering a clean and undistorted sound, with a uniform coverage of the venue, including balconies or similar seating. It must have an effective frequency response from 25 Hz to 20 khz at sound levels reaching approx. 100 db A. The system must be totally free of hum and noise. Preferred system: D&B, L-Acoustics, Meyer. The system must be a or 4 way active system, including high quality crossovers and amps. The PA-system should be set up and tested before the dance company arrives. All mic lines and monitors should be laid out and tested. Monitor 6 pcs, preferred system: same brand as PA-system.1 wireless in ear system. Front of House A minimum 24 ch desk with 4 band fully parametric eq. Phantom power must be available and switchable on each input channel and at least 6 auxiliary sends. Preferred brands: Mixer Yamaha. An Input list will be delivered before our arrival. FX 1 talkback microphone. Microphone 1 Wireless handheld microphones with windscreen and clip. Sennheiser/ Shure/ Wisycom with a dynamic capsule for the rehearsal director. 12 wireless system incl. 12 belt packs, 9 head mics DPA 4066, Lavalier DPA 4060. Intercom The Presenter is to provide a wireless intercom system connecting all stage personnel as well as the control room. We will need 8 units, full duplex (5 for party and for house). Sound Crew The Presenter guarantees the following stage crew for the duration of The Company s visit: 1 Sound technician that is familiar with the system, for set up/sound check/performance..4. Wardrobe, Makeup Wardrobe Facilities The Company requires the service of a person with access to a clothes washing machine, a dryer, a washstand for hand wash, an ironing board, an iron and 25 shower towels. Wardrobe Crew The Presenter guarantees the following wardrobe crew for the duration of The Company s visit: 1 experienced dresser/laundry personnel to wash and iron before, during and after performance. A schedule for the local crew will be given to the presenter before our arrival.
4. General information Rehearsal Studio The Company requires one suitable rehearsal studio for warm up and rehearsals with barres for 20 dancers and a studio sized sound system for CD playback. The floor in the studio should be regular hardwood dance floor, covered with professional dance carpet. This area should either be connected to or as close as possible, to the venue and available to The Company during the whole period. The temperature must be minimum 2 degrees C. Dressing Rooms The Company requires dressing rooms for 19 dancers (10 female, 9 male) and 2 separate rooms for the singer and the percussionist, 1 dressing room for the Rehearsal Director, 1 dressing room for the Artistic Director, 1 room for the Tour Project Manager, 1 room with a table for the Dresser, 1 room with mirrors and water for Makeup, 1 room for the Physiotherapist and 1 room for the technical staff. Technical Office The Company requires the use of a lockable office, as close to the stage as possible. We need 5 Wi-Fi internet connections. Security The Presenter is to take necessary precautions to ensure that no part of the performance is recorded either visually or aurally without the written consent of the Artistic Director. Photography is not allowed during the performance. The Presenter shall protect and secure all company equipment and belongings, while The Company has access to the facility. Catering The Company requires bottled still water for dancers and crew on stage and in the studio. If there is no cafeteria or canteen facilities open in the house the presenter is to provide coffee, tea, sandwiches and fruit during set up/strike down. Transport If the walking distance is more than 10 minutes between the hotel and the Venue, the Presenter is responsible for transportation and for payment of transportation for G.O.D. personnel. Medical The Company will require the names and telephone numbers of nearby hospitals. The Company requires ice for injuries. Parking The Presenter is to provide a safe and guarded parking space for one truck within a reasonable distance of the venue. The truck is 11 m long, 4 m high and weigh approx. 17 tons.
