The Colonnade Players to Hold Auditions for Pippin The Colonnade Players under the direction of James Ogden and Roy Denton, by special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). will present Pippin on July 24, 25 and 31 and on August 1, 2015. Phone: 212-541- 4684, Fax: 212-397-4684) AUDITIONS for Pippin will be held on May 25th and 26th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm both days. With the WW11 Nazi invasion of Holland, the ten Boom family joins the underground resistance to protect Jews and political prisoners from Nazi persecution. Betrayed by a fellow Dutchman, they are arrested and imprisoned on the Ravensbruck camp as their faith in God and love for others overcomes the feelings of despair where no pit is so deep that He is not deeper still. This production is a work of nonfiction. While Storyteller is committed to family theatre friendly theater, we are also committed to theatre with a purpose, and we believe there are significant lessons to be learned from the life of Corrie ten Boom. While tastefully and carefully presented, some of the Actors and actresses are being sought for the following roles: Leading Players: Male or female- tenor- ages 15 and up. Pippin: Male- tenor -ages 15 and up. Charlema gne: Malebaritone- ages 25 and up. Fastrada: Female- mezzosoprano- ages 15 and up. Berthe: Female- alto- ages 15 and up. Catherine: Female- mezzo- Soprano- ages 15 and up. realities of the ten Boom s story may not be appropriate for some children specifically as it related to life in a concentration camp. This show is not intended for young children, and parents should use discretion when bringing older children to the shows. Make plans to joins us May 15th, 16th, 22nd or 23rd at 7:30 PM with a matinee on May 23rd at 1:00PM Ticket Prices range from $8 to $12 and are for a reserved seat.
