For purchasing the HoMedics CircFlow TM Pulse Massager. Please read the following instruction manual to ensure you get the most out of this product. The HoMedics CircFlow TM Pulse Massager uses electromagnetic signals to improve the circulation through the planar muscle, which can help alleviate tired and aching legs and feet. What s in the box? Connect the AC adaptor to the AC jack on the side of the CircFlow Pulse Massager. Then connect the adaptor to a convenient power point. To turn the product on press the Power button. 2. select the required function Sole, Body or Auto mode. You are now ready to start using your HoMedics CircFlow Pulse Massager. Foot Reflexology Massage - Place your feet on the stimulation panels. - If you require heat for your massage the press the Heat button. - Now adjust the pulse intensity by pressing the Inc + button to increase the intensity or Dec button to reduce the intensity. Individual tolerance may vary but you should be feeling some sensation at around 10. Body Stimulation Massage - To alleviate aching muscles use the stimulation pads and cables. - Connect the clips to the back of the pads, peel the backing paper off and place on the area to be treated. Multiple pads can be used to threat bigger muscle groups. - For biceps and triceps place the pad between each end of the muscle. - For trapezoids place the pads on each shoulder blade just below the neck - For the pectorals place the ads above and to the outside of the nipple area. Waist Belt Usage - Connect the cable clips to the connectors on the waist belt. - For the lower back, tummy or obliques place the contacts on the waist belt across the desired area. - For each of the above areas, start by setting the intensity control at a low or zero level and increase the intensity slowly to your desired level. - For the best results you need to ensure that the muscles are contracting and not just tingling. Auto Mode Programs - The AUTO/MODE button allows you to switch between MANUAL mode and AUTO mode. In manual mode the product will remain on the one setting for 25 minutes. In auto mode the product will cycle through a series of 25 beneficial settings for 25 minutes. This is the recommended mode. Selecting the TIME indicator and using the INC+ and DEC- buttons can adjust these times. 3. Using the remote control - The remote control will operate all functions. - Remove the transparent insulation flake from the battery door before use. - Point the remote control at the unit and make your selections by pressing the appropriate buttons. 2 3
INFRARED The infrared setting uses warming heat to assist with circulation and warmth to the soles of your feet. Tips At first, try a few different intensity levels, to work out your optimum setting. You should feel a slight tingling sensation when the device is in use. The product has 99 intensity settings so there is sure to be setting that s right for you. Always start at the lowest setting and increase slowly to your desired intensity level. Ensure the desired area is clean and dry before use so the stimulation pads can have maximum contact with your skin. This manual provides a diagram of Chinese point therapy trigger points. These are the optimum places to use the pads. When using the on the body you can use the infrared settings separately. Safety Instructions Do not adjust the intensity level higher than is comfortable. If your skin appears sore or red, while using the device: - Turn down the intensity - If this does not help, stop using the product During the treatment, if you feel skin discomfort (mid tingling sensations) this is normal. This will subside almost immediately after you stop using the product. When connecting and disconnecting any wires from the product ensure that you remove them by holding the plastic retainer plug, not the wire, as this can damage the pads. Ensure your feet are dry before placing them on the device. Do not use while sleeping. This product is not suitable for children If you feel any discomfort or nausea while using the device, stop immediately. It is advisable to only use the product for a maximum of 25 minutes at a time. REFLEXOLOGY CHART Take care using the device on the following areas: Muscle or ligament sprains/tears rest first then use a low intensity and/or a shorter duration to avoid over stimulation. Devitalised/numb tissue ensure not to over stimulate the area. long term immobility or inactivity use a low intensity and shorter duration to introduce the muscles and avoid over stimulation/muscle fatigue. Trouble shooting Fault The product will not power on after pressing the ON/OFF button. Trouble shooting step 1. First, inspect that the power is on. 2. Check the plug at both ends, to ensure it is connected properly. Fault The Stimulation pads are not working Trouble shooting step 1. Check to see if the stimulation cable is in the correct pin socket. 2. Try increasing the intensity. 3. Check to see if the pads have good contact with the skin. 6 7
