CORPORATE SPONSOR THEATER NAMING A CLEAN CANVAS Every so often, a unique sponsorship platform emerges that calls out to prominent, innovative brands, offering visibility and audience engagement value that exceeds any other opportunity in the market. The Theater is a cornerstone of Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, a one-of-a-kind arts and cultural center that hosts an eclectic range of exhibitions, events and other programs, attracting a diverse mix of residents, workers and visitors to the city.
YBCA and the Theater are just steps from SFMOMA, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, the Children s Creativity Museum, the Museum of the African Diaspora, and the new Mexican Museum (2019). The Theater is located at the heavily trafficked intersection of 3 rd and Howard, directly across from the new Moscone Center expansion and adjacent to the center s main exposition building. Several global companies are headquartered within walking distance leading tech, financial, and consumer brands. ALL WITHIN BLOCKS THE CULTURAL CORRIDOR Flanked by the expanding Moscone Convention Center, Metreon complex, and Yerba Buena Gardens, tens of thousands of people traverse nearby sidewalks daily.
IN CLOSE PROXIMITY The YBCA Theater is ideally located in proximity to the always active and currently expanding Moscone Convention Center. The Theater is frequently used by companies seeking to stand out from the crowd or that simply need space when Moscone is full. The Moscone Center averages 3.4 million event attendees annually and the new 305,000 square foot expansion will add 42% more capacity. MOSCONE CENTER EXPANSION SARAH BROOKS/FLICKR
MOSCONE CENTER EXPANSION ROOM WITH A THEATER VIEW The new wing is located directly across the street from the YBCA Theater with ballroom windows looking right across Howard Street at the to-be-named Theater. The Moscone Center already hosts some of the biggest events on the West Coast, particularly in tech and health care. The expansion will mean even more traffic and more use of the Theater.
NAMING RIGHTS AND BENEFITS The new name of the Theater will be prominently placed on the front of the Theater, facing the newly expanded Moscone Center and highly visible from the street and major events that take place at the Theater and in the area. The new naming partner will be able to customize the exterior and interior and will have ample space to display product and integrate relevant content. CUSTOM BRANDING
