Instructions In this iece, each singer reresents one bird. Even if hole choir is singing line 1, each singer cries or calls at his or her on seed, and taking as much or as little time in beteen cries as y like. irst, ractice cries one at a time, using an oen o voel (as in olly ). Start off in unison (folloing your director) and n freely, each singer choosing ir on timing, ace, and dynamics. eel free also to vary voel toards oh (as in Romeo ), or toards ee for an extra iercing quality. When you are used to sound of everyone singing one line freely, try mixing to lines. or examle, have half choir sing line 1 (freely) and half sing line 7 (freely). Some combinations ill be harder than ors. One scheme that I think ould be effective is ritten out belo, but feel free to rite your on schemes and try m out.
