Page 5 ML1-11SM / 1.5 to 1 GHz Downconversion Spurious Suppression Spurious data is taken by selecting and frequencies (+m+n) within the / bands, to create a spurious output within the IF band. The mixer is swept across the full spurious band and the mean is calculated. The numbers shown in the table below are for a -1 dbm input. Spurious suppression is scaled for different power levels by (n- 1), where n is the spur order. For example, the 2x2 spur is 68 dbc for the H-diode version for a -1 dbm input, so a -2 dbm input creates a spur that is (2-1) x (-1 db) db lower, or 78 dbc. ical Downconversion Spurious Suppression (dbc): H-diode (L-diode) 5-1 dbm Input x 1x 2x 3x 4x 5x 1x 18 (18) Reference 29 (31) 12 (11) 3 (31) 25 (23) 2x 68 (63) 55 (49) 68 (59) 56 (48) 65 (59) 54 (51) 3x 9 (75) 66 (5) 79 (65) 72 (56) 8 (64) 7 (54) 4x 96 (87) 112 (86) 19 (88) 17 (83) 111 (93) 16 (85) 5x 112 (96) 119 (91) 126 (99) 119 (84) 129 (12) 122 (93) Upconversion Spurious Suppression Spurious data is taken by mixing an input within the IF band, with frequencies (+m+nif), to create a spurious output within the output band.
