Before you try out, check these dates with your parents/guardians and be sure that you do not have a prior commitment. All actors are required for all performance dates and times. Remember, when you audition for a production at Wayzata High School, you are auditioning for every role. It is the Director s job to cast you or not cast you as she/he sees fit. Dropping out of a production after being cast jeopardizes the production and rehearsal process. Before auditioning, please consider your level of commitment and readiness to tackle any role in which you are cast. Do not damage your reputation by dropping out of a production after being cast. If cast in the Fall Musical, students will be asked to pay a participation fee of $115 to student activities. Summer Dance Camp with Fall Musical Choreographer Cathy Wind is a great way sharpen dance skills and prepare for the dance auditions. The camp is not a part of your audition nor is it required to audition: Summer Dance Camp: August 17-21, Wayzata Auditorium Learn and improve your dance moves. We warm up and then drill basics of dance and teach combinations that will be used in the fall production. Open to all levels. Bring your friends. Wear comfortable clothing like yoga/sweatpants/shorts and tank shirts. Sign up Wayzata home page: go to e-pay, fine arts, drama, Dance Clinic Camp http://www.wayzataschoolspayonline.com/2015-16-august-dance-clinic-p1723c168.aspx *If you have any questions, see Ms. Gecker in the Black Box Theatre or email her at: Sonia.Gecker@Wayzata.k12.mn.us
