Important-Safety Precautions To avoid electrical shock, do not take apart this device. This device should use only the power supply included with it or provided as an accessory. Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in the risk of fire or electrical shock. Do not attempt to service this device yourself. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only. Note: This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to the FCC Rules, or BZT and CE EMC directive. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. If not installed and used in accordance with the instruction, it may cause harmful interference to RF communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this device does cause harmful interference to RF or television reception, which can be determined by turning the device off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Increase the separation between the device and receptions. Connect the device into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receptions are connected. Use better quality coaxial cable and avoid sharp bends. Consult the dealer or an experienced RF/TV technician for help. Caution: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the Party responsible for compliance could void the user s authority to operate the equipment.

1. Plug in the DC power plug to the power input socket of the device. 2. Turn on the power switch, and then the power LED indicator will light. 3-2 Output select and channel select Fig2 4 1. Press MOD key to select A/V input (A, B or C) and the corresponding A/V input LED indicator will light. And, the current setup channel number will be shown on the channel display. 2. Use up and down key to select the desired channel number. (The last selected channel number will be remained, even when powered off.) 3. Press both up and down key at the same time for about 3 seconds. The number of sound carrier will be displayed on the channel display. Press up or down key, you can select the TV norm (PAL-G: 5.5, PAL-I: 6.0, PAL-K: 6.5, NTSC: 4.5), then press MOD key to ensure your selection. 5 4. Installation of System 3. cable which is not included. 3. Plug in the provided power supply and plug the plug into the power socket of the device. Turn on the power switch, and then the power LED indicator will light. Then, you can enjoy your TV program. 4. For the best TV vision, it is necessary that the higher or lower channel number is skipped between A/V input A, B or C. This is to avoid co-channel interference. For example, Channel 23 is for A/V input A, for A/V input B channel selection, the channels 22 and 24 must be skipped. For A/V input C channel selection, it also necessary to follow above procedure to avoid co-channel interference between A/V input A, B and C. Fig3 1. Connect video input A to your video device source with RCA plug to RCA plug video cable and connect audio phone input to your video source with 3.5mm stereo plug to 2RCA plug audio cable. For A/V input B/C connection, follow the same procedure above. NOTE: Three pieces of audio cables are included in RFMX3 for audio connection, three pieces of video cables for video connection. 6 7 2. Connect RF out to UHF input of TV set or cable set-top converter with RF 5. Trouble shooting
1. No image or sound a) Make sure the power switch is in the ON position. b) Check the right connection of all the connectors and plugs. c) Make sure the modulation and TV are on the same channel. 2. Interruptions in image and sound a) Make sure the modulation and TV are using the free channel. b) Shorten the signal transmission medium between the modulation camera and TV set. If possible, keep the coaxial cable away from the other cables, especially mains wiring. If your experience is difficulty to install, set or use the device, consult the dealer or an experienced RF/TV technician for help. 8
