Come for an hour, a day, or the whole thing. Watch, listen, sleep, meditate, join in, and/or participate in whatever ways move you. Completed works, works-in-progress, ceremonies, guided practices, jam sessions and more. May 1st 5th 2018 CSU East Bay University Theatre Tuesday May 1st, 7pm to 11pm (4 hours) Wednesday May 2nd, noon to 11 pm (11 hours) Thursday May 3rd, noon to 11pm (11 hours) Friday May 4th, noon to midnight (12 hours) Saturday May 5th, 1pm to midnight (11 hours) The CSU East Bay Inclusive Interdisciplinary Ensemble, directed by Eric Kupers, presents a 49-hour experimental performance investigating questions about the time we are existing in, including: How can we make sense of this time we re living in? Is this the beginning of the end or the start of something new? How do we find faith, courage, and wakefulness in terrifying times? What is the nature of time, impermanence, mortality, rebirth, historical cycles, natural cycles, the search for meaning, and the journey of the human race? What do we have to learn from dance, music, theater, meditation, healing, and other creative practices that take us out of our usual life s pace? What do we have to learn from one another when we take the time to sit and be creative together?
