Also write the character sketches of all the characters you came across while reading. 2) Read the newspaper daily. Collect and paste any five articles in your holidays homework note book. Based on the collected articles, write your views in 100 words each. 3) You are also suggested to read any book by Roald Dahl and write the book review. 4) Attempt unit 2-The Girl Child and unit 3-Conflict from the MAIN COURSE BOOK in the practice notebook. 5) Collect the slogans and symbols of different active political parties of UK, CHINA, INDIA, BHUTAN and SULTANATE OF OMAN, and paste them in a scrap file. Note: Questions 1, 2 and 3 are to be done in a separate thin notebook. Roll No. 1 to 22 POSTER: STOPPING POLLUTION IS THE BEST SOLUTION Prepare a poster on A3 sized pastel sheet on the above topic highlighting the different ways to minimise pollution. Mount the poster on a hard cardboard and laminate with plastic cover. Roll No. 23 onwards MAKING KALEIDOSCOPE Take three equal sized rectangular plane mirror strips. Arrange them in the form of triangular prism. Tape them and put broken pieces of coloured bangles and beads. Cover one side with translucent sheet and other side with transparent sheet. Observe the various colourful patterns and designs formed in it. 2. PPT: GANGA- OUR LIFELINE / TAJ MAHAL- OUR PRIDE (with respect to pollution) Roll no. 1 to 20: Topic: Ganga: Our lifeline. Compost Banao, Compost Apnao- Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan Collect kitchen waste of your home(peels of fruits and vegetables, leftover food and etc). Dig a pit in your nearby garden and put the above waste it and make compost. Write your experience of making compost on A4 coloured sheet stating how you helped your environment by this practice.
