In the 205 Exercise Lab functional diagram (TA7.04, Detail 2) and the 11, 16 Exercise Lab functional diagram (STA7.01, Detail 1) there is a distributing amplifier (HDMI1x2) shown but not defined in the specification. Is there a preferred manufacturer / model for this distribution amplifier? Submit Extron DA2-HD-4K, or approved 4K-ready w/rs232/serial equal. On sheet TA6.0 in the Gymnasium, what is the item shown as SB on both the east and west walls? SB indicates Scoreboard. SB s are excluded from your scope of work. On sheet TA7.01, Detail 1, are wall boxes and RJ45 plates for the video wall supposed to be included in the base bid, or assumed as part of the allowance for the video wall? Are FC6 floor boxes located in the Gymnasium (TA7.05, Detail 1) to be provided by AV contractor or another trade? If AV, please specify. Floor boxes are by others. Any switches, media plates, and the like are part of AV Scope of Work. On floor plan for 141 Multipurpose Room (TA2.01) a FT6 floor box is shown. Is floor box to be provided by AV contractor or other trade? Floor boxes are by others. Any switches, media plates, and the like are part of AV Scope of Work. Item #8 Is there a preferred style of display mount (static, tilt, articulating (for the TV's in this project? Preferred mounts at Box Office, Offices, and Open Office area displays shall be tilt. Preferred mounts in Lobby shall be static. Preferred mounts in Instructions and Phys-Ed/Training/Exercise spaces shall be tilt. *Displays cannot protrude more than 4" into path of travel. Item #9 Item #10 Item #11 Item #12 On the functional diagram for the Gym (TA7.05, Detail 1) there are four amplifiers labeled PA70-1400. These are not included in the specification. Please clarify model. Should read "PA70-400" which may be interpolated from 274116/2.3/C. At the bid meeting on Jan 6th, it was mentioned that equipment racks are to be provided by AV contractor. Are there any specification available for the racks we are supposed to provide in the Gym, 141 Multipurpose and 102 Open Office locations? See 274103/2.3/B. What are the respective capacities of the Gym and the 141 Multipurpose CR for the purposes of determining quantities for Assisted Listening Systems? Refer to ALS calculations by Architect on A0.21 Attached. On the ALS schedule on Sheet TA0.01, the room name and type is shown as Room 124 Smart Classroom. This room is not in the project scope according to the provided drawings and specifications, so it is assumed this is leftover boilerplate information. Item #13 Item #14 On the functional diagram for 202 Fitness Center (1/TA7.04) there are 5 unlabeled devices (assumed to be the LCD displays) with an input labeled O.P.S. There are more than 12 OPS module options provided by NEC. Please specify which module should be included for display and whether the ATSC digital tuner option is desired. Submit NEC P-553-PC or equal. At this time there is no broadband distribution in building so a Tuner is not required. Displays to receive multi-cast video stream. At the Jan 6th bid meeting, it was mentioned that all the ceiling speakers are now being provided and installed by others, but commissioning is still in the scope of the AV contractor. It was also mentioned that the JBL model speakers had been replaced. Please specify the new speaker models so commissioning costs can be estimated. Submit Crestron DM-TXRX-100-STR or equal. The drawing shows video inputs from the input plates going into the AVSW, but no video displays. Verify that video inputs and switching is still required. Video switching is not required at this time but it is SFMI's understanding that video capability may be desirable in the future should projector/screen displays be installed in Gym. The Scoreboard and Game Clock are not part of AV Scope. See Item #3 Response. Two versions of Drawing WTA7.01 were included in the bid package, but do not correlate to rooms shown in the plans. Please verify that the systems on these pages are to be included in the bid response. Please refer to WTA7.01, Addendum #1, dated 10/10/16. The systems are located in the Wellness Center, Room 11 & 16. The scope indicated on TA7.01 appears to be infrastructure cabling to support a video wall only. Is the video wall and source NIC?
