Name Date How Elephant Got His Trunk One day long ago, Elephant came to a pond to drink the cool ' water. He saw Crocodile taking a nap. Elephant and Crocodile often liked to tease each other. So, Elephant decided to play a trick on Crocodile. While Crocodile was sleeping, Elephant put some mud into Crocodile's ears. Elephant thought to himself how surprised Crocodile would be when he woke up and could not hear. After a while, Elephant woke Crocodile. Crocodile said, "How are you today. Elephant?"
