BUYER BEWARE PAUL EFFMAN MUSIC pemusic.com 516.921.4543 3 important details to consider before purchasing a musical instrument. 1. Watch out for internet sale and auction sites. Often, students/parents who purchase instruments from auction sites end up frustrated due to the poor quality of the instrument or because the instrument is in need of serious repair. 2. Budget priced instruments are often a waste of time and money. Not all instruments are created equal! Cheap instruments are usually just that, cheap. If you purchase a questionable instrument, you may spend more on repairs just to make it usable. Most budget instruments cannot be supported with parts for proper maintenance and repair. Students will find persistant frustrations with lower-quality instruments. 3. Consider the value of service. Repair is an inevitable fact. Paul Effman Music warranties and services all instruments we sell. In fact, our staff picks up, delivers and supplies loaners. Remember, it is a matter of WHEN not IF an instrument requires repair or service. Thank you for participating in our music program.
