There have been two murders now on the Karnak. The first was the murder of Linnet Doyle. She was killed with a knife in her bathroom. Someone wrote the letter P on her wall in nail varnish. We found the gun in the river with an expensive handkerchief wrapped in a velvet shawl. Miss Doyle s pearl necklace is also missing. We started a search of the cabins for both the pearl necklace and the same handkerchiefs, but Miss Bowers came to give us the pearl necklace back. She says Miss Robson stole it.
