GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION-This television equipment is provided with a polarized alternating-current line plug(a plug having one blade wider then the other). The plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you, are unable to Insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

This will prevent damage to the video product due to lightning and power-line surges. 13. OVERLOADING-Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. 14. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY-Never push objects of any kind into television equipment through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. 15. SERVICING-Do not attempt to service this television equipment yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. 16. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE-Unplug this television equipment from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: A. When the power supply cord or the plug has been damaged. B. If liquid has been spilled,or objects have fallen into the video product. C. If the video product has been exposed to rain or water. D. This camera kit is compatible with all B/W video surveillance systems and will give you added security and comfort for many years. It is easy to install in almost anywhere you need audio/video surveillance. To safely use all the features of this system, please read the installation and operating instruction in this manual, and keep it for future reference. (1) 20 meter cable (2) Camera (3) Mounting bracket for camera (4) 3 self-tapping screws (5) Clip Type Equip INTRODUCTION 3

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING OR USING THE CAMERA WITH SYSTEM Precautions Read the following precautions before installing or using the system 1. Choose an ideal location for the camera so that the lens won t be exposed to any direct light source. The camera unit must be protected against moisture and vibration. 2. When you connect the camera to the monitor, the monitor should only be operated with the correct power source indicated on the specification. 3. Check the system for operation prior to installing the unit. 4. Be extra careful not to scratch the camera lens. Testing the Camera Testing the camera for proper operation and good viewing location is recommended prior to drilling and installing. To test the camera set aside all packaging, then follow these steps: 1. Loosen both ends of the wrapped cable. 2. Insert one end of the cable into the camera. Hold the cable end firmly, align the connector so that The arrow is visible on top. Push firmly until the connection is secured. Note: Both ends of the cable are identical; there is no wrong end. The round 6 pin connector On the camera is located at the back and is the only connector that it will fit into. 3. Insert the other end into the cable monitor of the OS 1203 system in the same manner. There are connections at the rear of the monitor for four cameras. The cable must be inserted into the first available connector. Note: Monitor connectors are numbered internally from left to right. Facing the back of the monitor, a camera installed at the first connector will be Camera One. If no camera is installed as Camera One, the Camera Two connector will not activate. If only one camera is installed, and it is connected at any port other than Camera One, the monitor screen will be static. 4. If the monitor is not already powered on, turn on all power switches to view the camera image. 5. Use the camera select button on the front panel of the monitor to view image from newly connected camera. 6. The monitor screen should display the installed camera view. The camera position can now be adjusted for best view 4

INSTALLATION Permanent installation using pedestal stand. 1. Attach the Pedestal using 3 screws. 2. Attach the Camera onto the Pedestal and tighten the thumb screw. Temporary installation using Clamp Method. 1. Attach the Camera to the Clamp and tighten the thumb screw. 2. Clamp onto the designated location and make sure it has a firm hold. How to install Cameras Keep Camera installed away from direct sunlight. Also avoid places where humidity is high or unable to protect rain. The mounting bracket must be attached to a structural object such as a wall stud or ceiling rafter using suitable fastener. 5

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE Before calling for service, please use the following guide for possible solutions: Problem Cause Camera Check that the monitor is plugged in No Picture Review the Power Switch section and ensure that both switches are Turned on Check that the cable connection at the monitor and cameras are firmly in place Check that the monitor is set to receiver a channel that has a camera installed Picture, but no sound Buzzer sounds repeatedly Check the volume control on the monitor Check that nothing is impeding the microphone at the camera location Check that there is an alarm sensor device connected to the camera If no alarm sensor devices are connected, check the alarm button is in the OFF position on the front panel of the monitor 8

CARE AND MAINTENANCE Your video observation system is an example of superior craftsmanship. Following these precautions will give you many years of solid performance and enjoyment. Keep your monitor & camera dry. If it does wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and store your unit in normal temperature environment. Extreme temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices. Handle the monitor carefully. Dropping it can cause serious damage to the unit. Occasionally, clean the unit with a damp cloth to keep it looking new, Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the unit.
