Various experience programs are carried out in individual traditional houses, so visitors who take part in mulle programs can enter and look around several different houses. Each program sets limit on the number of participants, but in the case of a large group, it can be divided into small teams that take turns in participating in different programs. The program starts with an overview on the origins of Taekwondo and provides systematic instructions to the basics of Taekwondo. It is held at Pigeumjeong Plaza for groups and inside the pavilion for limited number of individuals. The instructor tells various interesting episodes and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Certificates are issued for participants at the end of the program to help them feel the pride of trying a martial art. A product that links the program with the tour and experience programs in Namsangol Hanok Village can be developed. It can be linked to regular Taekwondo performances (Wed., Sat. and Sun. 16:00~17:00). The instructor also offers one-on-one training, and thus it is recommendable for small groups or FITs. Ogeumjil constant bending and stretching of knees and three-step technique are basics of the martial art for kicking or tripping to defeat an opponent. Street performance by the percussion group signals the start of the program. Program details Kyulyun Taekyun Team enters the scene to the beats of drums and recreate the ancient martial art through Taekkyeon demonstration and performances of key skills by individual players. In addition, traditional Korean dance is played between the programs. Programs Audience participation program: Games of Jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking) and stepping on the opponent s foot are played as part of training for Taekkyeon. Participants are presented with small souvenirs.
