Writing Focus: Literary Analysis 1. An epic hero goes on a journey and faces obstacles on the way. 2. Every hero has specific skills that helps him/her survive 3. A hero is transformed by taking part in the journey 4. Survival skills are important in every type of society/situation 5. An epic hero has a tragic flaw that creates challenges for him along his journey. 6. Knowing one s strengths and weaknesses helps one become self-reliant.
