1 S C L / É L C S T U D I E S I N C A N A D I A N L I T E R A T U R E É T U D E S E N L I T T É R A T U R E C A N A D I E N N E Submission Guidelines The editors welcome submissions of scholarly articles on any aspect of Canadian literature as well as interviews with contemporary Canadian authors in whom there is an established academic interest. Submissions may be in English or French; articles should be between 6000 and 8000 words (including Notes and Works Cited), and interviews between 4500 and 7000 words. Manuscripts must be submitted as an attachment (Word or RTF) to scl@unb.ca. Submissions are blind-vetted; please ensure that there is no information identifying the author anywhere on the manuscript (including Notes, Acknowledgements, etc.). References for English-language articles must conform to the MLA Handbook, 7 th edition or the MLA Style Manual, 3 rd edition. Articles in French should conform to Le guide du rédacteur (du Bureau de la traduction, 2 éd., Ottawa, 1996). Prospective contributors are encouraged to consult the SCL/ÉLC Style Guide (available on our Web site) for further details of style and formatting requirements in English or French. Copyright on published articles remains the prop erty of individual contributors, but permission to reprint in whole or in part must be obtained from the editors. No simultaneous submissions, please.
