You can also use Encyclopædia Britannica Online to search an Internet directory that includes more than 300,000 links to Web sites selected, rated, and reviewed by Britannica editors. A reference work in the biological sciences, features regularly updated articles, selected news on current topics, and links to other sources. ERIC, the Educational Resource Inmation Center contains citations and abstracts from over 980 educational and education-related journals, as well as full text of more than 2,200 digests. Citation. First Search The ERIC Document Reproduction Service (EDRS), is the document delivery component of the Educational Resources Inmation Center (ERIC). Identified by unique ED numbers, ERIC documents include a wide variety of resources such as teaching guides, research reports, bibliographies, issue papers, instructional materials, and test and evaluation instruments. An archive of published articles on topics including business, health, society, entertainment, and sports. Constantly updated, it contains articles dating back to 1998 from more than 300 magazines and journals. Full text and citation. The highest-trafficked legal Web site, providing the most comprehensive set of legal resources on the Internet legal professionals, businesses, students and individuals. These resources include Web search utilities, cases and codes, and legal news OCLC FirstSearch connects to over 53 article databases in subject areas such as arts and humanities, business, medicine, and social sciences. Accesses a world catalog (WORLDCAT) of books from thousands of libraries; also accesses a Union List of Serials from thousands of libraries. Full text and citation. Link to all Gale Databases. The Literature Resource Center (LRC) offers a wealth of inmation that includes criticism, biographies, bibliographies, work overviews and explications, Web sites, periodical articles, compare and contrast pages, full-text author's works, and reading lists. Hardin MD is a "list of lists" - its purpose is to provide easy access to comprehensive internet resource lists in healthrelated subjects. Internet links are regularly checked, and are those developed by people within the field, who are wellknown and frequently cited within the field, but not wellknown outside it, providing a degree of peer review.

Medscape Modern Language Association (MLA) New England Journal of Medicine Newspaper Source New York State Newspapers New York Times First Search Some of Medscape s key features include: Physician Optimized MEDLINE; Over 250 on-line CME activities; Conference Coverage; The Internet s first primary-source medical journal, MEDSCAPE GENERAL MEDICINE; and daily professional medical news. More than 50 medical journals and textbooks are included in the service. The MLA International Bibliography, produced by the Modern Language Association of America, consists of bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore and includes coverage from 1963 to the present. The MLA International Bibliography provides access to scholarly research in nearly 4,000 journals and series. It also covers relevant monographs, working papers, proceedings, bibliographies, and other mats. Citation. Online version of the published journal. Newspaper Source contains full text regional U.S. newspapers, international newspapers, newswires, newspaper columns as well as other sources. This database also contains indexing and abstracts national newspapers. Includes: ABI/INFORM Global American Medical Association Periodical Abstracts Research ProQuest Newspapers, including Barron s and the Wall Street Journal. ProQuest Historical Newspapers (The New York Times) ProQuest Research Library Complete Full text and citations. Provides access to about 800 full-text journals across a wide range of subject areas, including business, education, literature, political science, and psychology. The database can be customized to meet the specific needs of many different types of libraries and inmation centers. Journals selected inclusion in the database match those listed in such sources as Katz's Magazine Libraries and Magazines School Libraries. Journal coverage also is designed to correspond to the most popular college majors. PsycARTICLES PsycINFO PubMed Regional Business News Sports Business Research Network This database provides full text articles on current issues in psychology from respected sources, spanning from 1988 to the present. PsycARTICLES includes more than 25,000 fulltext articles from 42 journals published by American Psychological Association and allied organizations. All journals included in this database are indexed in PsycINFO PsycINFO contains more than 1.8 million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports, all in the field of psychology. Journal coverage, which dates back to the 1800s, includes international material selected from more than 1,700 periodicals in over 30 languages. More than 60,000 records are added each year through weekly updates. A service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 11 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources. A full text newswire database that incorporates business wires from all over the world.
