The focus is how the educational process is mtluenced by various segments of the aviation and aerospace community and how education affects the mdustry. Although the basic focus is toward colleges and umversities, manuscnpts concernmg secondary and elementary education are encouraged. The Journal is mterested m a wide range of scholarly subnnss10ns concernmg aviation/aerospace cumculum development and/or mnovative methods of instruction (for any/all levels of education), significant research relating to aviation/aerospace education, to mdustry research, and to mdustry and education parlnershlps. The Journal welcomes subnnss10ns reflecting the latest mdustry and acadenuc thought concernmg current issues of interest to JAAER readers, and is mterested m well-researched and documented stones concernmg aviation history, both m the past and m the makmg. A refereed publication, manuscnpts are blind-reviewed by members of the editorial board as well as by a limited number of professionals m that field. From time to time a non-refereed article may be mcluded m a Forum section. AUTHOR'S GUIDELINES Preparation of Manuscnots The most current edition of the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) ts used as the style guide for submtss1ons. However, authors are mstructed to mclude all tables m the body of the manuscnpt. D JAAER does not accept multiple submissions. (If pending acceptance elsewhere do not submit to us.) D Submit five copies of the manuscnpt usmg standard, white, bond paper. D Double space the text. Use wide margms (l.5"-2") on both sides and top and bottom. D Do number the pages Title The title of the manuscnpt should be clearly mdicative of its subject and of the author's mtention, and should not be unnecessarily long or convoluted. Documentation Manuscnpts are to conform to APA reference documentation. Text reference citations and reference list entries must be identical. Autobiography On a separate sheet of paper, mclude a bnef autobiography stating your qualifications for writing thts article. If multiple authors, give a bnef autobiography for each author. Publication Policy With your mitial manuscnpt submtss1on JAAER requrres a full statement that thts manuscnpt has not been prev10usly published elsewhere, ts not submitted and pending acceptance elsewhere, and will not be submitted for publication elsewhere ID its present form.
