My 5 yr old loves this book and as a result he has become interested in American History. This appetite he has led us to purchase many more books on history. In my opinion, the book has accomplished what I wanted. AN INTEREST IN LEARNING! AN INTEREST IN HISTORY! AND AN INTEREST IN READING! The text should be simple! The

3 text should be silly at times! Thank you to Mary Pope Osborne for creating a wonderful series which I believe has turned my child into a history buff eager to learn everything about America! The Magic Tree House series got my third Grader son reading. My son couldn't wait to read this one and enjoyed it as much as the others! Number 22 in the series, this installment is true to Jack and Annie's adventures. The book is 2nd in their quest to Save Camelot. Jack and Annie go back to the Revolutionary War period. They learn about America's fight for independence and a lesson about perseverance. I like the way it presents factual events and history to the young reader. The book also gives facts about the Revolutionary War that teachers and parents can build on. Mary Pope Osborne does a wonderful job in writing a series that children anxiously await the next installment! And, they told George Washington to go on a stormy night.i think the author was trying to teach to participate in things. She also was also trying to teach us to be willing to do things. We wouldn't call this book one of our favorite books in the Magic Tree house series, but it was still good. We learned a lot about the Revolutionary war and George Washington on our adventure with Jack and Annie. We are excited to get started reading the next book and still recommend this series, highly! This book is about a boy and girl named Jack & Annie who travel back in time in a Magic Treehouse. This adventure is about George Washington and the Revolutionary War. George was a Captain during the war, and is well-known for crossing the Delaware River. The Revolutionary War is what began the Right of Independence for the Americans. If you like to read or want to know about United States History, this would be a great book for you! I bought this for my grandson. These books are easy to read for new readers. He was playing video games and they started reading this book series (Magic Tree House) in school. I was doing genealogy work on my family and discovered my 4 times Great-Grandfather was in the militia or German Regiment all of the war and before that, so I was able to set up a frame of reference for this book! We read it together.

4 I think this book a very good book. The story is about two kids who find a tree house that takes them places. For instance to the Titanic or in this case The Reolutionary War. One part I enjoyed reading was how Jack and Annie sneaked on to George Washington boat and listend to his plot. This book is a series. But if you have some free time I suggest you read this wonderful book. This book had no part where I ever wanted to put it down. I really hope you have time to read this book. All of the series by Ms. Osborne are wonderful. My grand-son loves them and lets me know when he wants the next four or five books. I definitely recommend them.
