1 LET S KICK OFF WITH THE GRAMMY AWARDS! What better way to start a new year than with the Recording Industry s most prestigious award ceremony. Yes, it is of course, The Grammys. Awarded to honour excellence in the recording arts and sciences, The 60 th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on 28 th January in NYC and we are taking bets on who s gonna win! Check out the ones to watch Artists winning a Grammy can expect a massive an uplift in Sales some topping 230%! The Music Industry, artists and fans worldwide will be waiting in anticipation and for those who win will enjoy one of the biggest accolades in their career

2 BEST ROCK ALBUM NOMINEES: American heavy metal band Mastodon have made the Grammy nominations yet again with their seventh album, Emperor of Sand. This album released in March 2017 has been hailed one of their best to date becoming the highest-selling album of the week across all genres! The band have also made a 75min documentary of the making of this album and their last tour sold out. Set for a some more tour dates in May, Come on Mastodon, scoop that well-earned Grammy! 3 Never out of the limelight, Metallica are again on course to win this year s Best Rock Album with Hard Wired to Self-Destruct. Having never won this category before, this could potentially be the one to complete their trophy display. The band will continue their tour across Europe from Feb this year. Always massive, ear busting, hard rocking, sell out arena shows (the only way they know how). Never out of vogue, you can t possibly go wrong wearing a Metallica tee, a wardrobe staple year after year, generation after generation. OSTER ALERT: METALLICA

4 Last summer, QOTSA re-emerged with seventh album Villains. Produced by Mark Ronson, this spectacular album gave the band its first No. 1 in the US Album charts. No doubt then that QOTSA will have as good a chance than the others when it comes to scooping that Grammy! The band will embark on a North American tour this year kicking off this month in Victoria, British Columbia and stopping in San Francisco before before hitting Argentina and Brazil in Spring/Summer. Regardless of whether they will win or not, 2018 will be a powerful year for the band almost as powerful as the front man mountain, Rock God Josh Homme himself! ROSTER ALERT: QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE

5 BEST ROCK SONG NOMINEE: Avenged Sevenfold recently received a Grammy Nomination for their track The Stage. Front man M Shadow said in a recent interview We're just really excited and honoured. We're really excited to be even talked about in the same breath as Foo Fighters or Metallica. Avenged Sevenfold will head out on the road across the US early this year and will also headline the UK s Download festival in June with Shadows also hinting at a really big summer tour. 6 BEST SPOKEN WORD NOMINEE: Bruce Springsteen's autobiography Born To Run has been nominated for Best Spoken Word Grammy Award. Congratulations Bruce! Bruce Springsteen has sold over 65 million albums in the US making him one of the biggest selling male artists of all time. Springsteen on Broadway is not really a rock show but a theatrical Broadway performance, rooted in stories from Springsteen s hit autobiography, Born to Run, and interspersed with songs. The show had to add another 4 more months of the Broadway Residency due to overwhelming demand. 8 WE RE STARTING 2018 LISTENING TO: Motionless in White recently completed a headlining North American tour last autumn and they're set to embark on a second continental tour leg as they continue to support their latest album, Graveyard Shift. It all starts on 20 th February in Sacramento, Calif. Then will criss-cross over the United States and Canada during the span of just over one month, concluding in Reno, Nev. on 25 th March.
