6 Abstracts: Theory of Idea Expressing: a Theory Overthrowing Representative Theory III Gao Minglu [Abstract]This thesis is the third part of Gao Minglu s writing Theory of Idea Expressing. It is about the theory of idea expressing and the Semiotics. In this part, the author explains the western representative theory and approach in a further way from the grammar rhetoric direction, states the narrative position and approach of the theory of idea expressing that is different from these western theories, and points out that the theory of idea expressing does not treat division and substitution, but on the contrary, integration during interaction as its basic grammar rhetoric approach. These succession ways have certain positive functions on the development and improvement of the traditional Chinese arts and crafts, but at the same time big disadvantages. [Key words]chinese arts and crafts,succession and development,way,current situation On Yi Yuanji s Art Zhou Yandi [Abstract]Yi Yuanji was a court painter who could not be ingnored in the Bird-and-Flower Painting field in the Song Dynasty, and as a transitional figure, his influence during the innovation of the Bird-and-Flower Painting in Song was even significant. On painting objects, he made animals such as apes, monkeys, deers and roes living in the big mountains as his main painting objects, which was quite different from others at his time; on painting techniques, he followed the tradition of painting from life, and changed the old fashion in the painting academy in early Song that followed Huang Jucai s style. She has already become an important sign of European, and even the whole western, culture ever since the Middle Age. In the western art history, the image of Joan of Arc is always with clear characters of the time, the aritsts own emotions and favors were expressed together with the demand of their times, in this case, the changes of Joan of Arc s image is similar to the development of the art history. Joan of Arc s image has already become symbolized, and it is closely conntected with symbolic ideas such as patriotism, perseverance, courage and sacrifice, and the expression of her female characters also reflects the change and modelization of female social gender in the history. Through cultural accumulation for hundreds of years, on the basis of freedom, Joan of Arc s image has been standardized little by little. It concentrates the inherent cultural association, agglomerate cultural characters of different times, and also provide possibilities for multiple, free interpretation. The time when he lived and did academic research was that when the Chinese society met great change, and when the thinking and cultural form faced great turning, and when the Chinese art history discipline started transforming to its modern form. Fu s research on art history was closely related to the cultural and thinking background at that time, especially the new ideas and approaches of the history science, on the directions of concept, principle, methodology and narrative way, etc. In this case, to do research on Fu is helpful for us to understand the situation of the starting period of the Chinese art history s modern transformation, and can be reference for us to establish and complete the contemporary Chinese art history discipline. This thesis makes organization and criticism on the research of ancient Chinese lacquerware, especially that in the Qin and Han Dynasties, which was the prosperous period of ancient Chinese lacquer art, from the four aspects: early ancient Chinese documents, lacquerwares before the Warring States Period, lacquerwares in the Warring States Period and the Qin and Han Dynastries, and lacquerwares after the Qin and Han Dynastries. With Fu s translation and introduction, masterpieces by great writers and aesthetists such as Balzac, Roman Roland and Taine are enjoying great fame among Chinese readers for dozens of years. This thesis does research on the contribution of Fu Lei for his translating Daine s Philosophy of Art, and discusses Fu s characters in his translation and introduction work on aesthetics. Behind the similar art and cultural phenomena, we can find some common points between the Chinese and western artists ways of looking, which cause us to think: when the physical eyes meet the spiritual eyes accidentally, how will the artists do? Will they listen to the physical eyes or follow the spiritual eyes? Will they head to immitation or expression? These are the artists most fundamental and meaningful choice on aesthetics.
