1 Part A Beethoven s father was the one who first taught him how to play the violin and piano. He pushed Beethoven to practice every day, which definitely helped Beethoven become one of the best composers and musicians of all time. Part B If Beethoven had refused to follow his father s wishes, he may never have gotten to meet Mozart because the only thing that allowed him to meet Mozart was his ability to play an instrument. Also, Beethoven may not have been able to earn a living by composing music if he had refused to practice nearly every day like his father wanted. This was especially true once Beethoven went deaf.
