3 The following statistical charts prepared by the Toronto Film, Television & Digital Media Office report investments in Toronto s economy for productions which have been either filmed on location or in studio or have been post produced in Toronto. In addition to the expenditures and investments detailed in this presentation, the creative screen industry generates hundreds of millions of dollars in additional spending in Toronto related to in-house or studio broadcasts, unscripted series, public affairs programming, news and sports telecasts. Historically, these expenditures have not been included in this presentation. Future annual reports will provide an overview of this investment by these broadcasters and other industry stakeholders.
