It performs frequency conversion, data demodulation and data acquisition in a costefficient single unit. The system is also capable of receiving several channels in parallel. The A9910 OMNISAT-ADAS is developed by Thales Alenia Space Antwerp, a company with over 30 years of experience in satellite data reception. 4 Built in X Band Down Converter The X-band Down Converter converts the RF input to a fixed IF frequency of 750 MHz. RF input level : -80 to -40 dbm RF input frequency : 7.9 to 8.4 GHz RF input connector : SMA, on the back panel IF output level : 15 up to 45 db above RF input level IF output frequency : 750 MHz Internal synthesizer reference can be locked onto an external reference Data Ingest & Front End Processor The Data Ingest & Front End Processing (DIFEP) receives data from the HDRD host frame synchronization and Reed-Solomon decoding, producing annotated raw data, VCDU, ISP.
