5 App controlled receiver Autoadapt Remote 5 Operation Installing the app Please make sure, that your ios or Android device meets the minimum requirements defined under the chapter Technical specification. Otherwise you won t be able to download the app and/or it won t work properly on your device Activate Bluetooth on your smart-phone. Download the Autoadapt Remote app from Google Play or App Store and follow the setup wizard. The picture to the right shows the home page when the app is connected to a receiver. Before connecting any receiver this page is almost blank. Main menu Name of connected receiver Battery voltage White button Button is not pressed/active. Blue button Button is pressed/active. 6 Autoadapt Remote App controlled receiver Adding a new receiver To add a new receiver, the receiver must be in pairing-mode. To do so, push three times on the teach-in button on the receiver.

6 6 Autoadapt Remote App controlled receiver Adding a new receiver To add a new receiver, the receiver must be in pairing-mode. To do so, push three times on the teach-in button on the receiver. Please make sure that there is no more than one receiver in pairing-mode at the same time Open the Main menu and select New receiver. The app will automatically search for Autoadapt remote receivers within your range, that are currently in pairing mode. Select the receiver you want to connect by pressing the corresponding entry of the search results. Enter a name for the receiver. Confi rm you choice by pressing the Teach-in button. Your smartphone now connects to the selected Autoadapt remote receiver and synchronises the settings. You are now able to control your Autoadapt remote receiver.

7 App controlled receiver Autoadapt Remote 7 Switching between several receivers This step-by-step instruction assumes, that you have already paired two or more Autoadapt remote receivers to your smartphone. If this is not the case, you fi rst have to add additional Autoadapt remote receivers. 1 Open the Main menu and select Device manager. You ll now see a list of all receivers, that have already been paired with your smartphone in the past. EN Operation 2 3 Select the receiver you want to connect to by pressing the corresponding entry of the list. You can now decide whether to Connect, Disconnect, Rename or Remove the respective receiver. Select Connect and confi rm your choice by pressing the Next button. Your smartphone now automatically connects to the selected Autoadapt remote receiver. You are now able to control your Autoadapt remote receiver. Note! If you have previously been connected to another Autoadapt remote receiver, this connection will be automatically disconnected and any processes/commands that may be running will be aborted, as soon as you connect to another receiver.

10 10 Autoadapt Remote App controlled receiver LED-light error codes Flashing red x3... Undervoltage This error appears if the supply voltage of the receiver drops under 6,5V for at least 1,5 sec. A pop-up will be shown in the Autoadapt Remote app. To reset the error raise up the supply voltage over 6,5V again and click on Reset error in the app. Attention: Undervoltage can be triggered by heavy loads (large powerful motors). Flashing red x4... Overvoltage This error appears if the supply voltage of the receiver raises over 36V for at least 60 ms. A pop-up will be shown in the Autoadapt Remote app. To reset the error lower the supply voltage under 32V again and click on Reset error in the app. Attention: Overvoltage can be a result of defect components in the system or external voltage sources which are connected to the system (e.g. battery charger). Make sure that those sources are removed before resetting the error. Flashing red x5... Overcurrent of all outputs combined This error appears if the total current of the receiver is too high. To reset the error, a smartphone needs to be connected. After connecting, a pop-up will be shown in the Autoadapt Remote app and the error can be resetted by clicking on Reset error. The error won t be resetted by a current drop. Attention: Overcurrent can be a result of connecting to many loads to the receiver. Make sure those loads won t exeed a total maximum current of 10A.

11 App controlled receiver Autoadapt Remote 11 Flashing red x6 - x9... Overcurrent of a single output This error appears if the current of one of the outputs is too high. To reset the error, a smartphone needs to be connected. After connecting, a pop-up will be shown in the Autoadapt Remote app and the error can be resetted by clicking on Reset error. The error won t be resetted if the current will drop down again. Attention: Overcurrent of an output can be a result of connecting the output to a component which needs to much current. Make sure the current won t exeed the maximum current of 3,7A per output. EN LED-light error codes

12 12 Autoadapt Remote App controlled receiver Care instructions The product is maintenance-free for the user. Maintenance and repairs must be done by a specialist. The device should be cleaned only with a damp cloth and without chemicals. Doing otherwise may damage the product. Electronic devices are recyclable waste and do not belong in the garbage. If the product does not work anymore, dispose it in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

13 App controlled receiver Autoadapt Remote 13 Warranty The Autoadapt Remote device has been tested in a controlled environment and proven to be resistant to moist and dust under certain conditions (meets the requirements of classification IP66 as described by the international standard IEC 60529). It is not possible for the supplier/manufacturer to ensure that the contents of this user manual as well as the application of the products of the Autoadapt Remote will be understood and followed by the user. Improper and/or incorrect mounting and/or assembly and incorrect operation can result in personal injury and damage of the materials.
