1 International Conference InterCarto / InterGIS-23 Geoinformation support of sustainable development of Asia-Pacific region territories in conditions of global climate change June 26-28, 2017, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Russia) July 1, 2017, Seoul (Republic of Korea) July 7-10, 2017, Washington, Anchorage (USA) Dear colleagues, Information Letter 1 International Conference InterCarto / InterGIS-23 «Geoinformation support of sustainable development of Asia-Pacific region territories in conditions of global climate change» will be held from 26 to 28 June 2017 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Sakhalin oblast). The second part of the conference will be held July 1 in Seoul (Republic of Korea) and July 7-10 in Washington and Anchorage (USA). The conference is organized by: International Cartographic Association International Eurasian Academy of Science Center of World Data System for Geography ICSU-WDS with financial support from the Russian Science Foundation. Main Topics: GIS and cartographic support for the environmental, economic and social dimensions of sustainable development in conditions of global climate change. Digital Earth and use of GIS in the areas with developed Oil and Gas complex. Geoinformatics in the protection of environment, natural and technological risks management and environmental security. Remote sensing studies of the Earth and Geoinformation technologies. Spatial data infrastructure.

2 Standards, interoperability and open access. Modeling processes of influx of oil and gas. Geoinformational and cartographic assistance of studies of the ice cover. Geoinformational and cartographic assistance for preservation of cultural heritage. Geoinformational and cartographic assistance for tourist activity. Problems of geographical education. We intend to index the publication in the Scopus. Therefore articles prepared in accordance with the requirements of Scopus, should be sent to organizing Committee Requirements on submissions GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PAPERS The file header must contain the author's name. Materials submitted in electronic form as a file format *.doc (Microsoft Office). The total amount, including illustrations, should not exceed 15 pages. A4 page in vertical (portrait) orientation, margins of 3 cm on all sides, the header and footer 1.5 cm. STRUCTURE OF ARTICLE 1. Universal Decimal Classification UDC (for materials in Russian only). Typography: Times New Roman, font Name and surname of / author/authors with digital footnotes. Author's place of work, e- mail address are specified in the footnotes. Typography: Times New Roman, font 12, bold. Typography for footnotes: Times New Roman, font Title of the article. Typography: TIMES NEW ROMAN, UPPERCASE, FONT 12, BOLD. Center Alignment. For sections 4-11 general rules of Typography: Title: TIMES NEW ROMAN, UPPERCASE, FONT 12, BOLD. Left alignment. For the text: Times New Roman, font 12. Alignment justify, line spacing single, paragraph indent 1 cm, after paragraph 1 cm, indention 1 cm. 4. The section "Summary". Volume up to 0.5 pages. 5. Section "Tags". Up to 5 keywords/phrases, separated by commas. 6. Section "Introduction". 7. Section "Materials and methods". 8. Section "Results and discussion". 9. The section "Conclusion". Section 10. "Acknowledgements" (in this section information on the financial support is provided). 11. Section "References". Tables are inserted into the text. Font: Times New Roman, 12. numbered in order of sequence numbers in the text. All columns in the tables must have headers and be divided by vertical lines. Signatures table form (Table X. Text) are located above the table& Alignment centered.

3 The images are inserted in the text and attached in JPG or TIFF file formats with reasonable resolution. Numbered in order of sequence numbers in the text. Captions to pictures of the form (Figure X. Text) are located below the image. Alignment centered. The numbering in the text of the formulas is consecutive, numbers indicated in parentheses (1), (2), etc. on the right side. Only formulas that are referenced in the text are indexed. References are listed according to alphabet. In the text of the article references to the authors and the year of publication in brackets ([Petrov, 1991; Vasiliev et al, 1992; Location..., 1993]). The order of the bibliographic description: 1) last names and initials of authors, 2) the full name of the monograph, 3) the place of publication, 4) publisher, 5), year of publication, 6) number of the pages; for periodicals - 1) last names and initials of authors, 2) the title of the article, 3) name of the journal, 4) year, 5) volume, 6) issue, 7) pages. for books: surname and initials of authors, title of book, publisher's address, publisher, year of publication, volume, number of pages; to articles from journals and collections: names and initials of authors, title of the article. Then through // specify the name of the journal or collection, series, city, year, volume number, issue, first and last pages; for materials of conferences, schools, seminars: surnames and initials of authors, title materials, name of publication, time and venue of the conference, city, publisher, year of the first and last pages. 6 Official Conference languages The official languages of the conference are English and Russian. Proceedings will be published on official UN languages - Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Chinese, and Russian. Duration of presentations Plenary: 15 min Thematic: 10 min Discussions: 3 min For publication of materials authors should send via at: 1) completed registration form; 2) a copy of the payment receipt of the registration fee; 3) the text, drawn up in accordance with the requirements. The publication is based on the results of the review, subject to prior payment of the registration fee. Preparation and submission of reports The conference provides an opportunity for the oral presentation. The contents of the report should correspond to the topics of the conference. The papers should contain new original material. Each author individually may not represent more than 2 papers. All materials are reviewed. The program Committee reserves the right to accept or reject the report and decision on the form of its presentation. The texts of the rejected reports are not returned to authors. The manuscripts should be sent to the address of organization Committee till 15 Mar Texts, sent after the deadline in the conference proceedings are not published. Is supposed to serve a series of collections of this conference to receive the impact factor. In this regard, we ask the authors of the materials, if possible, to increase the number of links on the previously published data collections of articles.
