by Jade Fox By Stewart Farquharson The magic of a wandering fairy caravan brings you unusual healing spirits.
The Caravan of Scoundrels Can you laugh at yourself and love life anyway? Have you felt the deep kindness under everything? Do you know when to use a subtle approach? Then you will do well with this reiki. But first you must write down on a slip of paper: I give myself permission to break the rules. And rip it up and throw the pieces into the air! Now you are ready. Page 2
Open your mind s eye and breathe slowly and relax. Imagine yourself growing much smaller. Small as a rabbit. And walking along a tunnel by a hedge. You notice the creak of wagon wheels. A gypsy caravan is coming towards you! Its horses are white and led by two husky men. A woman with a cheerful and strong look holds the reins. A little girl peeks shyly under her arm. Then a merry rascal of a horseman, every inch the dashing cavalier, gallops up and leaps down and sweeps off his ragged hat and bows. As the wanderers settle down to make camp, an old woman begins to make a stew in a huge black cauldron. The others treat her with deference. She turns and winks at you and you feel accepted. A fairy energy runs through you suddenly, like strong drink. You feel as if you want to laugh and dance with outspread arms. And then as you whirl about the clearing you come to a sudden stop. A vampire! An old tattered scarecrow of a man, yes, but you know a vampire when you see one. What is he doing here? Let yourself settle by the fire and allow your new friends to introduce themselves Page 3
Meg She wears a black shawl and a patched gown and seems quite old and wise. She smiles as if she is holding back laughter. Underneath you sense a great tenderness. She stirs a soup pot and may give you a taste if your sincerity earns her respect. Who knows what gift her potion brings? Temo and Samir They are burly Morris Dancers and wear top hats with flowers and have chimney soot on their faces. The bells jingle on their belts. You can tell these men are lovers. Call on them together for help. Belinda She is a little girl with elfin eyes. Though she is the youngest Traveller the Bad Things flee her. Nobody knows her story. Meg rescued her from a hollow tree and told the others to leave her be. She is quiet but sings to herself sometimes and she owns a grey kitten. Page 4
Gwen She is the blacksmith as plump and beautiful and as hearty as fresh baked bread. She makes the wagon wheels and mends the pots the strangers bring. Once she made a gold ring from the beams of the sun and the laughter of a brook. She won t say what magic it has but she may loan it to you. Tory Gwen loves Tory the horse trader, a charming rogue. He has tricked the Bad Things many times in many tales. He laughs and whirls Gwen around and his grin puts everyone at ease. It s the way he shuffles the cards that startles you. That and the glimmer of blue sparks under his fingers. Screech And then there is the vampire Screech. Not a scary monster true. In fact he is a bit nervous and jumps and yells if the morris men play a prank on him. But sometimes you need a good sneak and Screech can steal up and drink away the power of a Bad Thing like nobody s business. And besides Meg took pity on him. Fairy Shapes of the Wanderers Meg crow Belinda kitten Gwen hare Tory fox Screech bat Temo hedgehog Samir badger Page 5
How to heal with this attunement Just say aloud (name of system) once and let the energy flow through your hands and heal as you usually do. How to take down this attunement Just say aloud I am now accepting the attunement to (name of system) from (name of teacher) in a way that is good for my health and spirit. So be it. And relax for a few minutes. You may sense energy tingling in your hands or warmth, or if you close your eyes and let your mind drift away, you may see unusual pictures. It really doesn t matter. It works even if nothing is sensed at all. How to give this attunement Just say aloud I now attune (name of student) to the energies of (name of system) in a way that is good for both of us, in health and spirit. So be it. Or you can put the attunement in a chi ball of imagined energy and let the student pull it down when convenient. Best wishes and love and light, Stewart Disclaimer: This energy system is intended for relaxation and wellness and spiritual growth, but people with medical problems should of course continue to see their doctors and get medical advice from a professional Page 6
