2 comedy will feature new guest stars Sarah Wayne Callies (THE WALKING DEAD) and Jonathan Torrens (TRAILER PARK BOYS) this season. Currently in production in Sudbury, ON, and set to debut later this year exclusively on CraveTV, LETTERKENNY has Jacob Tierney return to direct six all-new episodes this season while also reprising his fan-favourite role as Christian leader, Glen. This season brings new faces to LETTERKENNY, as outsiders make appearances in town, while the locals continue on their individual quests for love from bush parties all the way to the big city. Each season of LETTERKENNY gets bigger and better and we are thrilled to be starting production on a new season of this sharp and very funny comedy, said Corrie Coe, Senior Vice-President, Original Programming, Bell Media. Created by and starring Jared Keeso, the award-winning half-hour comedy is produced by New Metric Media in partnership with DHX Media and Playfun Games. LETTERKENNY revolves around the dustups Wayne (Jared Keeso) and his buds get into with their small-town rivals. The Hicks, The Skids, and The Hockey Players get at each other about the most mundane things, often ending with someone getting their ass kicked. Key residents of LETTERKENNY are Daryl (Nathan Dales), Wayne s free-spirited younger sister Katy (Michelle Mylett), and Wayne s buddy, Dan (K Trevor Wilson) all Hicks. CSA-nominated Daniel Petronijevic and Melanie Scrofano return as Hick McMurray and Mrs. McMurray. Dylan Playfair and Andrew Herr reprise their roles as hotshot Hockey Players Jonesy and Reilly. Tyler Johnston and Evan Stern return as Skids Stewart and Roald. Mark Forward returns as the temperamental Coach and Tiio Horn is back as badass leader of The Natives, Tanis. Also set reappear in LETTERKENNY this season are Magalie Lépine Blondeau as Wayne s incroyable love interest; Pierre Yves Cardinal as Jean Claude; Kelly McCormack (Killjoys) and Jess Salguiero (Saving Hope) as Shamrockette stars Mary-Anne and Betty-Anne; and Kim Cloutier as Anik. Sarah Gadon also returns as mysterious ladyskid, Gae. Based on the internet sensation Letterkenny Problems, the half-hour comedy is a top performer and marquee program for CraveTV since its memorable launch on Super Bowl Sunday in LETTERKENNY took home two 2018 Canadian Screen Awards for Best Writing in a Comedy Program or Series, and Best Direction in a Comedy Program or Series. As announced in June by CraveTV and New Metric Media, streaming service Hulu acquired the exclusive U.S. streaming rights for the first two seasons of LETTERKENNY, which made its debut on the platform on July 13 and received high praise from media, with The Hollywood Reporter calling the series relentlessly creative and The New York Times putting it in league with Aaron Sorkin and Bell Media Inc., 299 Queen St. W. The series has also spawned brand extensions including sought-after LETTERKENNY merchandise and the highly successful Puppers Premium Lager, in partnership with Stack Brewery in Sudbury, available now at LCBO stores in Ontario. LETTERKENNY LIVE!, a packed 26-city tour featuring a 90-minute comedy experience starring Keeso, and LETTERKENNY cast Nathan Dales, K. Trevor Wilson, and Mark Forward kicked off in Halifax on February 28 and wrapped in Surrey on April 6. Due to popular demand, the nationwide tour adds new shows and markets with it second leg, LETTERKENNY LIVE, THE ENCORE!, beginning this December. The first four six-packs of LETTERKENNY, along with special episodes Ferda Edition, The Haunting of MoDean s II, St. Perfect s Day, Super Hard Easter, and the original web series Letterkenny Problems, are currently streaming on CraveTV.
