Opening Night is Friday, May 5. The cast of Mary Jane includes Kathleen Chalfant, Emily Donahoe, Vella Lovell, Miriam Silverman, and Shona Tucker. The production features sets by Laura Jellinek; costumes by Emily Rebholz; lighting by Elizabeth Green; sound by Ian Scot; dramaturgy by Amy Boratko; technical direction by Harry Beauregard; dialect coaching by Ron Carlos; wig, and hair design by Dave Bova and J. ABOUT MARY JANE As Mary Jane (Emily Donahue) navigates both the mundane and the unfathomable realities of caring for Alex, her chronically ill young son, she finds herself building a community of women from many walks of life. HARRY BEAUREGARD (Technical Director) is a second-year MFA candidate at Yale School of Drama. At Yale Repertory Theatre, he has served as assistant technical director for the world premiere of peerless and was associate production manager last fall. He was the Main Stage assistant technical director for the Williamstown Theatre Festival s 2016 season. He has also worked for The Public Theater, the Atlantic Theater Company, St. Ann s Warehouse, and Mabou Mines, in addition to numerous New York commercial scene shops. RON CARLOS (Dialect Coach) is a New York-based voice, speech, and dialect coach. He is currently a lecturer in acting at Yale School of Drama and has taught at Harvard University, City College of New York, Marymount Manhattan College, the Atlantic Theatre School (NYU/Tisch School of the Arts), the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and The National Student Leadership Conference. ABOUT YALE REPERTORY THEATRE Yale Repertory Theatre, the internationally celebrated professional theatre in residence at Yale School of Drama, has championed new work since 1966, producing well over 100 premieres including two Pulitzer Prize winners and four other nominated finalists by emerging and established playwrights. Thirteen Yale Rep productions have advanced to Broadway, garnering more than 40 Tony Award nominations and eight Tony Awards. Indecent, the critically acclaimed new play created by Paula Vogel and director Rebecca Taichman, which was commissioned by Yale Rep, where it had its world premiere in 2015 with support from the Binger Center, will open on Broadway this month. Theatre for a New Audience in New York recently presented Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters, directed by Christopher Bayes, which has been seen at theatres across the country since the production debuted at Yale Rep in 2010, and will present Yale Rep's production of Samuel Beckett's Happy Days, featuring two-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest and Jarlath Conroy, directed by James Bundy, April 23 May 28.
