2 STATESBORO-BULLOCH COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT 2018 Splash in the Boro Facility Rental Procedures *For information on other rental facilities, visit our website at Splash in the Boro is available for rental: May 21 st -25 th Monday thru Thursday* 9:00am-8:30pm May 26 th -August 5 th Tues., Fri., & Sun.** 6:30pm-8:30pm August 11 th - September 3rd Monday Sunday*** 6:30pm-8:30pm *Competition and Therapy Pools: Call for available times Splash in the Boro is located at 1388 Hwy 24 East, Statesboro, GA inside of Mill Creek Regional Park. Splash in the Boro is a waterpark and family aquatic center and can be used for company parties, family reunions, birthday parties, etc. Reservations are not confirmed until a signed rental confirmation form and rental procedure has been received. Full payment must be paid two weeks prior to the rental. No rental can be secured without the signed agreement. Rentals are made on a first come first served basis. Private Rental Charges Main Waterpark Features $2000 (2 hours) *Includes Lazy River, Slide Trio, Play Pool, Leisure Pool, and Spray Pad Wave Pool.$1000 (2 hours) *Can be rented alone or in addition to water park rental. Flow Rider...$300 (2 hours) *Can be rented alone or in addition to water park rental. Mat Racer Slide......$300 (2 hours) *Can only be rented in addition to the water park rental. Competition Pool. $300 (2 hours) *Can be rented alone or in addition to water park rental. Therapy Pool...$150 (2 hours) *Can be rented alone or in addition to water park rental Group Pavillion...$25/hour Wave Pool Pavilion $50/hour **Pavilions must be rented for a minimum of 2 hours** Without a formal contract (not appearing in person to make a rental request), Splash in the Boro will not be held liable for any miscommunication in regards to wrong dates, times, or other requests. All rental fees apply to community or family functions only. Any for profit organization holding an event or an event charging fees will result in an additional daily rate charge or 25% of profits, whichever is greater. Advance Reservations All facility rental reservations must be made at least two (2) weeks in advance. All rentals are subject to first come first served basis. All rental fees are due IN FULL at least 10 days before the party. If payment is not made 10 days prior to the party date, your reservation will be cancelled. Parking Please use parking spaces provided in the Splash in the Boro main parking lot or in the additional parking lots at Mill Creek Regional Park. There is no parking allowed on the curb, in the grass, or in the Service Entrance. Cancellation / Refund Any cancellations must be made 10 days in advance of the rental date otherwise the renter will forfeit a $50 cancellation fee. If the park is unsafe to operate due to weather issues (hard rain, thunder, lightning, etc.) at the time of your rental, management will work with you to reschedule your rental for another date based on availability. **Please see the Inclement Weather Policy on the Rental Confirmation Form for additional information. Included in your Rental Ø The water park pools and attractions your have selected. Ø Lifeguards Ø In park radio throughout the whole park (Splash Radio)

3 Ø P.A. system with wireless microphone (upon request). Ø Men s and women s bathhouses. Locker Rentals (available upon request, $100 min. required) Ø A minimum sale of $100 must be met. If the group s locker rental purchases do not equal $100, the remaining amount must be covered by group representative. If you would like the Locker Rental Office to be open for the duration of your rental, please select the YES box on the Rental Confirmation Form. If you would like this service to be provided, we must have a two week advance notice in order to schedule staff accordingly. Concessions/Food Policy Ø NO food, drinks, candy, etc. may be brought in during a private rental. No exceptions. Ø Splashy s Snack Shack is available to rental groups. A minimum sale of $250 must be met. If group purchases don t equal $250.00, the remaining amount must be covered by group representative. * Extra tables, chairs, and other arrangements are the responsibility of the renter. Renter s Responsibilities No keys are issued for this facility. A Splash in the boro staff person will meet the renter at the entrance of the facility to open and close the facility. It is the renter s responsibility to meet the staff person at the appropriate time. Each renter is responsible for cleaning the facility after use. The 2 hours of your rental MUST include any set up and clean up time. We do not allow early set up time or extended time after your rental time is over. **Please note, Splash staff will be on site during your rental, but are not responsible for being the gate monitor. We will open the front gate at the start time of your rental, and close it at the ending time. We suggest making sure there is a member from your group assigned to be the point person and someone to stand at the park entrance to ensure only people invited to your rental come in the gate. The following list of renter s responsibilities should be followed during rental: ü Renter is only entitled to the hours specified when reservation is made / confirmed. Set up and clean up of the facility is considered part of the rental. Renters will be charged accordingly for any overage. ü Decorations are allowed (no tape or thumb tacks on walls, straw, etc.) but must be cleaned up by renter. You may use table decorations. ü Absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES / DRUGS / SMOKING are allowed on or around any park facility. Persons who have been drinking are not allowed on or around park facilities. ü Tables should not be moved from current location without approval and if approved then they must be moved back to original location. ü Please take trash to the trashcans located throughout the park. ü Renters are responsible for facility damages and will be expected to pay for any necessary repairs. ü Renters are responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of the following Splash in the Boro rules prior to visiting the park (A complete list of rules is available on our website as well as at the park.): An adult (16 or older) must accompany children under 12. Parents/Guardian are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring safety and responding to emergencies not child supervision. Lifeguards have final authority on all safety rules Anyone planning on entering the water must wear a proper swimsuit. No T-shirts, no cutoff shorts, etc. No exceptions will be made. Swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests and are available at our Gift Shop for purchase. No outside toys or inflatables are allowed inside the park. Bathers are allowed to wear US Coast Guard approved flotation devices only. If inclement weather arises, the park will be closed for 20 minutes from the last sound of thunder or lightning strike.

RELEASE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT As an inducement for and in consideration of the undersigned s rental of a facility from the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department, the undersigned hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Bulloch County and its affiliated organizations and their directors, officers, employees, and agent from and against any and all injuries, damages, claims, actions, causes of action, liability (including liability for negligence), and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorney s fees) arising from or in any manner connected with the rental and use of said facility by the undersigned. The undersigned further hereby fully and forever releases and discharges Bulloch County and its affiliated organizations and their directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all known and unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, arising from or in any manner connected with and its affiliated organizations and their directors, officers, employees, and agents for any such claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action. YES NO *If yes, $100 minimum must be met or you will be responsible for paying the difference. Locker Charges: $3 for small locker, $6 for large locker plus $5 refundable locker key deposit per locker required. Inclement Weather Policy: In the case of inclement weather and unsafe conditions, you reservation will be cancelled. You will have the option of rescheduling based on availability. If the weather conditions are unfavorable during the day of your rental and you wish to cancel your rental to avoid the chance of having inclement weather arise during your rental, you must notify us at least 4 hours in advance of the start time of your rental. You will have the option of rescheduling your rental for another date (based on availability) or receiving a refund (if the 4 hour advance notice is given). If inclement weather is probable, please call us at (912) to check the status of the weather before your rental. This is a confirmation of the reservation that I have made with the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department. I understand that my reservation is not complete until the rental fee is paid and a facility reservation contract form is completed. By signing below, I am confirming the above information to be correct and that I have read, understand, and been given a copy of the facility rental procedures and will abide by them otherwise my rental will be cancelled without refund.
