2 whoweare Harmony in Worship (HiW) is a company dedicated to the vocal arts in giving glory to God. They are an independently produced and published vocal group that creates and performs original and wellknown music of various styles and resources in vocal harmony development. The HiW Vocal Group is a selection of professional singers that have dedicated their talent to perform for the public; ranging from music festivals, choir productions, and fundraisers, to church events for various denominations. Each performance is tailor-made, ranging from three to six singers performing to HiW backing tracks, but can also include live instruments. Styles vary, including: inspirational, rock, pop, ballad, jazz, reggae, worship, Gospel, African, and classical Latin. In addition, choir workshops are available for performance or just for fun, or can be delivered in a more educational manner to develop vocal skill. Colleen Bleazard formed the company in 2005, drawing from her extensive experience in leading choirs, training, and developing vocal techniques. Her first EP album in Australia was recorded at the Grove Studios (formerly owned by INXS); with reggae band Roads from England. Using the music they created, she launched her first multimedia book As It Is, an educational tool in vocal harmony development for choirs, small vocal groups, churches, and self-help. She has recorded four vocal training CDs, two additional EPs with resources, and continues to use international and local musicians and singers to extend the range and style of production. In 2013, HiW welcomed new vocalists and songwriters (Joe & Dominique Farah, Melody Pascoe, Caroline Labour) for their latest double-album release The Gospel of Peace. Harmony in Worship distinguishes itself by its dedication to a multi-genre style, a non-denominational outlook, a strong multicultural identity, and a firm belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God, and his resurrection from the dead as the only way to heaven and eternal salvation. The term Harmony not only refers to song, but also to a living testimony of how all Christians can work together in worship to our Lord and Saviour.

3 whywedowhatwedo HiW s desire is to bring the heart of all people closer to God in a combination of amateur and professional worship, to inspire, unlock, and equip singers from all walks of life through song that edifies the God of gods. Performances include audience participation; which captures the heart and desire of each individual to be more proactive in vocal praise, drawing them closer to God and His unconditional love. The songs performed are mainly God-centered in worship to Him; while others are testimonial drawing from experiences of the pleasures and heartaches of life with a message of a loving God who is zealous for His people. ourvision Colleen and her expanding team of talented songwriters, singers, and musicians will continue to focus on future albums, additional resources, and multimedia books; building up a diverse repertoire of mixed genres. New members joining are discovered through HiW s training company Vocal Tuition, Australia via private tuition, vocal workshops and HiW contemporary choir. Harmony in Worship s vision is for multimedia productions, drawing from all aspects of the Arts and the Performing Arts; to involve local communities and churches together so that the heart and love of God can be revealed through an interactive mix of amateur and professional performers. In years to come the ultimate goal will be to reach beyond, not just one city, one country, or one nation, but that the ministry of Harmony in Worship will build up leaders, vocalists, dancers, actors, musicians, production teams, and films in worship to God through the arts around the world.

Church Items Music for Mass/Worship Fundraising Music Festivals Radio Interviews Functions Weddings Fitting in with the word of the day, HiW can draw on many songs for reflection. If they don t have one suitable, one can be written. Leading portions of music during services. For a worthy cause, HiW will come and perform live so that you can put the money towards your chosen charity. In addition to performance, HiW can provide vocal workshops that lead to public presentation of one or more of their performance pieces. Interviews and live performance for promotion and fundraising. Background/Atmosphere music for dinners, banquets, fundraisers, intermissions...you name it, they ll do it! HiW can provide live music for your special day. They will work from your personal collection of songs in leading worship and item pieces. Vocal Training Workshops HiW brings the wealth of experience through Colleen Bleazard in training voices, using modern techniques of today s voice craft. Choir Workshops Event Performances Yearly workshops are run for those who are unable to commit to long term projects, but still love to sing with others. Professional aural resources are provided to aid in the learning process, leading to a performance at the end. If you are putting on an event and would like something a little more unusual, HiW Vocal Group may be what you are looking for. Worship Team Training If you need guidance for your worship team ministry, Colleen Bleazard will dedicate her time to come along side your singers and musicians in a Godly approach to build up and strengthen the heart of worship.
